I know there are a couple of restaurants without kids menus so the kids can order off of the adult menu on the ddp.

I think the fish and chip place in Epcot is one of them.

What are the others?

Oh, good thread--I'd like to know this too.

Toy Story Pizza Planet at MGM doesn't have a childrens menu. Any others?

There is a stuck thread at the top of DDP FAQ (http://www.disboards.com/showthread.php?t=1479952). There is a section on CS restaurants w/o kids meals.

I understand that where there is no child menu, children can order off the regular menu. Which CS locations do not have a separate child menu?
• Catalina Eddie
• Taluca Turkey Legs
• Cool Wash Pizza
• Casey's
• Pete's Doggone Good dogs
• Pizza Planet
• Sommerfest
• Yorkshire County Fish Shop
Hope that helps!

Hi Sarah -- a few "perspective" ideas from a "frequent eater" on DDP.

My recommendation is not to worry about maximizing the yield on DDP. Maximize your fun for your family.

Five years from now, your lovely daughters will not remember that they got a dinky Fish & Chips at Yorkshire...or didn't.

A bottle of water for a snack credit is a lousy value for a snack credit...but it might be exactly what your dancer wants. Give it to her. (My all-time best use of a snack credit was for water on a blistering day.)

Don't waste your time worrying about "maximizing value."

Worry about when you're going to do a Living Legacy photo(s) at Epcot -- so the girls can show their kids their Disney trip. Don't worry about where you're going to eat lunch.

Plan your TS meals to maximize the girls' experience at Disney -- not to get the biggest bang for the buck.

Don't plan your CS meals -- don't let them rule your itinerary. Go where you want to go, and eat where you want to eat.

Have a great trip...and the food will take care of itself.

You are so right with this post. I also was thinking of sharing CS meals and ways to maximize our DDP in August. I am just going with the flow and if the kids want their own meal then they will get it. If they want to share we will do that.

If they want water for their snack so what. We will have plenty of extra money to get other snacks if they use theirs for drinks. I know I will need a caffine boost in the afternoon, if I use a snack credit for a Diet Coke fine if not I will pay OOP.

I was interested in the same info in '05 and in '06. NOT to "maximize" the DDP-simply because my son would much rather have "grown up" food than what was served on the kid's menus. :thumbsup2

I want to agree with the above posters who are advising you to stop worrying. Last August we had the free DDP and payed breakfast a few times, tried to think about using the snack credits to maximize the plan, and gave up after two days. There is a lot of food, and plenty to go around. We had a bunch of snacks and CS credits left when we went home.

Use your credits where you want to eat. If your kids want something on the adult menu you can share your meal, there is a lot of food on every order. Water and Popsicles are an amazing boost when you have been in the sun. A $4 treat may be a better value but wont be anywhere near as good if you are craving something cold. Look over the menus before yu go, but just run with it when you are in the parks and your DDP will then be the best value.

Just to let you know how much food, my DH is 6'6", weighs 265 pounds and is built like Paul Bunyan on steroids with an appetite to match. He shared lunches with me or my DGD a lot, and came home saying he was not going to eat for a week.

Have a wonderful trip!

Tangierine has a kids menu according to Allears (I haven't been to Tangierine since DDP came into being, though). However, I think we may need to add Boulangerie Patisserie and Boardwalk Bakery to the list of CS places with no kids' menu?

You're right-allears does have a kid's menu yet that is wierd because the last time we ate there when my son was still a child on the DDP, he was excited when we were told that there was not a kid's menu and he could order anything from the menu. :confused3
