Quick Prima Swap- Due Date is in 1 Week!

This is a Prima Flowers Swap, it's pretty easy to do, so anyone can participate! The rules are really simple:

You pick your color and give each person a certain amount of each flower. All you have to do is put each person's in a small baggie and write color, group number and your user name on the outside. That is it!

Because there are different sizes of flowers, we've come up with a "scale" of sorts. (I stole this from another board. ) 30 Small, 20 Medium or 10 Large. I have no problem with mixing and matching sizes, just make sure it is pretty much equal, so it's fair.

I'll start out with three groups of 10.

Due Date is August 27. Mailing Date is August 21st. If I get everyone's before, I'll send them out!

I'll send out a pm with shipping info once we close this out. If it is easier, since this is a fast turn around, and you order on-line. Feel free to have the company ship them to me, I will split them up for you. It might even save you a little bit on shipping. If you are interested in doing this, PM please.

The last time, I ordered from: www.scrapbooking-warehouse.com and my order came in less than a week. I just placed another order for this swap and the bottles were $5.52 each plus a flat rate postage of $5.99. They have a huge selection, but I think you would want to make sure you're ordering from the Got Flowers or Got Daisies collections to make sure you get enough in the bottles. Some of the other collections don't have many in the container. The Got Daisies are fairly large, and you may not get enough for ten each, or you may get a little more....the bottles vary, but they're very pretty.

The problem is that we both are promoters of each other's "addiction". I just ordered one bottle for each group like we did before, otherwise it gets really expensive. For the "Got Daisies", there were not enough for 10 for each person, but because of the size, color combination, quality, we agreed it was OK to just divide the one jar. I think, the same may hold for the "Got Flowers", dotted, waffled Impressions designs, too. Some bottles may have 80 to 90 in them for the bigger flowers. Some of the Got Flowers, that are smaller sized have a lot more in the jar.

Is that still OK, Shawna?

The bigger the flower, the less that will be in the bottle. Order one bottle of flowers and split them for your group.

She has a blog and a sends out e-mails all the time. She also does a 10 for 10 crop every Saturday. I have been a couple of time, but it has been hard this summer.

That's how the Daisies come, Mickster. That's what we did in the last swap. I had all Daisies and some even had like 80 in the bottle. I expect that will be the same for what I ordered. The last time, we agreed it was OK.

That is fine- I'm soory I missed your post, I was in CHarlotte and must have missed it. I have had the same problem. I got a bottle of leaves- really cool but only 90 in the bottle. So everyone will only get 9.

She first pointed me toward the Quick Picks that were on top of a display case across from the registers (those were the first ones I bought) and I said "Is that all?". She asked another salesperson who showed me the Got Flowers bottles. Why they were practically on the floor of an embellishment case I'll never understand :confused3 They only had mixed colors, but I had the list of what other people in my group had already gotten and the salesperson suggested the Got Flowers Fall #2 bottle. They are pretty blues, cream and green. So, that's what I got!!!:flower3:

I ordered my flowers. I got:

Got Flowers: Sunrise/dot texture
Got Flowers: Seasonal Halloween
Got Flowers Seasonal Winter #1



The flowers were waiting for me when I got home yesterday! Scrapbooking-warehouse.com is FAST!!! In looking at the groups, I'm thinking that:

Group A: Got Flowers: Sunrise/dot texture
Group B: Got Flowers Seasonal Winter #1
Group C: Got Flowers: Seasonal Halloween

It's been a crazy weekend here, so I didn't get to the post office yesterday. These are packaged up, and DH is taking them tomorrow to the post office. I'll post again tomorrow afternoon to let you know they're officially on their way!

My address is in with the ones from the roladex and business card swap we had. I know you were in it because I used your card for addressing the outside of the envelope.

I spent some time the evening sorting, swapping, and addressing the packages. I'm hoping that the last three packages arrive tomorrow and I can finish the swapping out.
