Honeymoon at WDW!

My fiancee and I are planning our WDW honeymoon for this Christmas. Hes never been to WDW and I've been twice when I was younger. Does anyone have any suggestions of things we should DEFINATELY do while we're there? This is the first 'real' vacation for us and we want to make it amazing! Neither of us have planned something so big, so any suggestions would be much appreciated!

awww!!! congrats...mine will be next july. We will be there for Christmas this yr though. I would recommend the osborne lights mgm, candlelight processional @ epcot, also fantastmic at mgm, and of course wishes (the fireworks @ MK as well as illuminations @epcot. As well as all the awsome rides and parades. Are you going to be going to all the parks? We have a seven day hopper with the dinning plan. Highly recommend the dinning plan. Love it! We've been to the world 38 trips and must do's are: Hoop Dee Do Revue and the Electricial Water Pageant. Strolling along the Boardwalk in the evening is also nice plus some Disney putt-putt. Hay ride in FW, movies there also at night with campfire roast. Every resort has a nifty lounge to visit but we always stay around the MK resorts and monorailing to each resort, have a drink, do alittle shopping and visit the pool area for a look see is great. Rinstah - Welcome to the Disboards and Congrats on your upcoming wedding!! Planning a Disneymoon is exciting and fun - I am planning one also. This will be my DF's first visit to WDW also - so I am sure you are like me and want everything to be perfect for him. I would start out by looking at the selection of restaurants and making some lunch/dinner reservations. Having a nice romantic lunch and/or dinner during your day at a park would be a nice touch. Also, you may want to do a search for "Honeymoon ideas" - I have found lots of good ideas on the board that way. Happy Planning!!

Congratulations on your upcoming wedding. My DH and I honeymooned in WDW almost 8 years ago and we loved it. I'm sure that you'll have a great time!!

We're going back next month and this is the first time that I will be surprising them (DH, DS6, DD4) with gift baskets that will be delivered to our resort. You might think about doing the same for you DH. The company is Memories by Betsy (www.memoriesbybetsy.com) and she has been great!! I noticed on her website that she offers a wedding basket (picture of items included below linked from her website). She does a lot of customization so you can always make or ask for suggestions to personalize it for him.

Hi; Welcome to the boards... and CONGRATS!!!! I think a must especially during Christmas time is in MGM & thats the osborne festival of lights.
A couple of other things that I can think of off the top of my head... A horse and carriage ride, a dinner at California Grill during the fireworks at MK, watching the fireworks at MK & Epcot; eating at Epcot and last but not least getting your Mickey/Minnie Bridal Ears... this way you can show them off to everyone....
