best weston plaza id and thomson

we just booked up to stay at best weston plaza and going with thomson in 20 days from bham,has anyone been to best weston or travelled with thomson?

BW Lakeside is a different hotel :)

Our first trip ro Florida in 1997 was with Thomsons and we stayed at the Best Western Plaza on IDrive :)

It's a nice basic hotel, rooms are clean and there is a nice pool area with pool bar and laundry.
The best thing about the hotel is it's location - the southern end of IDrive, which is more attractive than the north end (above Sandlake Road).
There are plenty of shops, restaurants and attractions witinh easy walk of the hotel (including Sizzler, Ponderosa, Tony Roma restaurants).

As for Thomsons, I think they may have changed quite a bit since we went with them. The flight was OK on a 767. There was no seat back TVs when we went, but this may have changed now as charter airlines are all updating their planes.
