I am a new Cricut owner but haven't played with it much. I did see alot of cute Disney dies for the Cuttlebug though. Is it similar to the Sizzix(which i personally did not like using)
But the Disney dies are soooo cute for the Cuttlebug.. ;)

I haven't seen them... going to check out provocraft now...
I love my Cuttlebug! It uses all the different dies...I can use my Sizzix, sizzlets, and love the embossing folders! It's really easy to use too...just rolls the stuff through. I still use my sizzix though...

How much is a cuttlebug? I saw that the folders are fairly cheap, but how much is the machine gonna run me? I'd love one for my card making

is it much easier to use then Sizzix, I felt i need to be muscle girl to use it.lol
DO they have alpha font with Cuttlebug, if so, do you do individual letters like the sizzix.
I too can't see to find the price for Cuttlebug.

I love my Cuttlebug! I bought mine at JoAnn's when they had it half off- I don't remember the exact price but I know it was in the $40-50 range. It is really easy to use- in fact my DD (7) loves to use it too. :thumbsup2

I got mine from Joanns.com as well with a 50 percent off coupon. I have a code for 40 % off.....when i got mine I also got free hsipping so it was well worth it. You can use all kinds of dies with it and I absolutely love it.......

That's not bad... does Mike's take coupons on them or just Jo's? How about AC Moore? I love embossing so this would be great

I got mine on sale too. I went to Mike's and they denied my coupon (I had a few words with the manager the next time I was in the store...but I digress) So, I left Mike's and went to Joann's, ...SALE!!!! I didn't know, so I saved even more at Joann's. The Disney dies look like the ones that emboss and cut at the same time. I don't see them on any website though...anyone have a supplier?
If you can get it on sale it is SO worth it!

Well, that was what I was getting at Mike's...
BUT, when I spoke with the manager a few days later, he said that Cuttlebug isn't Cricut, and I should have been able to use a coupon. He wasn't happy that I took my business elsewhere either, and was going to get back to the people that turned me down...might be worth checking ....

I've been contemplating one for sometime but now will definately be picking one up. With all the great new releases I think these will become more popular. Wonder how long until Mike's and J's won't except coupons on Cuttlebug merchandise.

Yep, I'm going to have to have a Cuttlebug. If for nothing else than for the Pooh dies! They are adorable! Now, if only Cricut would do a Pooh cartridge!
I know that on the jkcrafts site, it says "coming soon". Was there a release date mentioned anywhere on these?

I can't seem to find a definitive answer on this although there are a lot of maybe posts....I have sizzix which I still use for certain things (have a cricut too now) and don't want to add another machine for sure but love some of those new cuttlebug dies coming out. Can I use those dies on my regular old pull down the handle sizzix? If so do I need touse the adapter like with the sizzlets?

SusieStone, where did you get the 40% off coupon. I want a Cuttlebug and I am trying to find the best deal. I want to get one before my DH changes his mind. :rotfl:
Thanks :)

Do you have a Joann's? If you do there is a coupon here (http://www.joann-mail.com/J0592W/email_thankyou_newb.html?r=0621846245&i=J0592W40) that you can use - it's good through August 10th. (it's good on Cricut carts too)
Michael's puts their coupons in the paper (locally it's bi-weekly so this Sunday should be a coupon paper)
AC Moore e-mails them if you're on their mailing list.

Faerie, the closet store to me is in Houston. I was going to get one at Hobby Lobby, but when I went in they told me it was made by Cricket. So, they wouldn't accept my 40% off coupon. I called last night and they said I could use the coupon. Today the answer is no, so I'm mad  and now I don't want to buy one from them. Instead I am driving about 100 miles to get one in Houston. So, thanks for the coupon.:goodvibes Good trip for me and my DD anyway.
