Beer and Wine

My DH, 2 DS's, DSis and DBil are heading to POFQ in Nov. Does the store at POFQ sell beer & wine and if yes what sort of selection? My DSis likes the "fancier" beers - Bud Light won't cut it! Thanks for your help - -

The stores at the resorts do sell beer (its not cheap) but as too which brands I can't say. I too like Sam Adams, Bass and Harp etc etc. and never had a problem getting my fix, most of the bars carry "good beers" and when she goes to EPCOT she is definitely in luck, the WS has lots of good beers. If POFQ doesn't have her brand she can either go off-site and get some or head over to the Contemporary Resort on the Concourse level they have a liquor store again not cheap.

Thank you for the quick response. We expect to spend alot of money at WDW so we're ok with that. If we need to go to the Contemporary to get my DSis her fancy beer - so be it! ;)

The market at the resort had your usual domestics: bud, miller and coors products, plus some imports or smaller brews. I remember Heineken and Sam Adams were definitely there, but no Sierra Nevada Pale Ales or other micros.

If you can, try and go to the bar on a night the piano player is there (I know many on the board know his name, I just can't remember it now). My family had a wonderful time and it is something we will do again, he is worth the effort.

You could always take it with you just to be sure you have what you want. Just a suggestion...
