I just called to confirm all of my ADR's for an upcoming trip. At the last Table Service restaurant, on the last day of our trip, they have us confirmed as a party of 4, but there are only 2 of us. I don't know if it was a typo by the person who took the reservation, or some kind of computer error, but I'm afraid if I tell them about the error now, I'll lose my reservation. I called separately, and the restaurant is now totally booked for lunch that day.
Does anyone know what will happen if we show up for our 4-person reservation with only 2 people? Will they still seat us?

On this topic... Yesterday we called to get an ADR for a party of ten. We searched and searched many restaurants for an opening with the CM. Finally she found one for a party of 11 and said she would try to get permission to book it for us. After a couple of minutes, she said that she couldn't. We asked her, "what if we MAY have 11--we could invite a friend to join us?" She said "no." We called back a few minutes later and asked for an ADR at that place for 11 and booked it, FYI. Kinda crazy, isn't it?

Our last trip, we were trying to get an earlier ADR at a restaurant (We had one for like 7, but wanted to go to cirque, so were trying to move it to 5)
The girl said there were no tables for 2...but there were plenty for 3. The supervisor standing next to her, said "Just book the 3, and then tell them your friend couldn't make it!" I thought it was funny they knew how to get around the built in rules.
So that's what we did, and had no problems
