Need some feed back about on-site eating places.
I have made a few ADR’s for our forthcoming visit, but am now finding varying reports about quality / service. We are due to visit Whispering Canyon on our second day, but following this weeks report on DIS Unplugged, I am beginning to have second thoughts. :confused3
Other places we had in mind are Chef Mickeys, Flying Fish, Spoodles and Big River Grill.
Any feedback of recent visits, would be most welcome. :thumbsup2

What report on DIS Unplugged, we went at Christmas time and loved it, we thought that we may not like it due to being reserved Brits :)
But we enjoyed every minute, including the ketchup roundup, getting straws thrown at us and mega glasses of diet coke. :thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

We went to CM for first time in December - we all really enjoyed it. At first I thought we were sat out of the way but the characters came round loads of times! The food was good too.
We are booked into Chef Mickeys tomorrow night for dinner so I will let you know on Sunday :thumbsup2

We went to chef mickey's on the 12th of July and were asked to be Family of the day. Our kids got announced and asked to open the restaurant where they pulled a rope (i helped a very sleepy ds) and then Mickey appeared. It was a wonderful experience and the kids loved it. Althouygh ds was upset that Pluto wasn't there for him. The salad bar was gorgeous. The puddings were to die for but I got annoyed at the impatient family next to us, 4 adults one child who as soon as the characters got to our table were jumping about taking the attention away from my children. Luckily the server told them to sit down and to stop filming my kids as they didn't have my permission to film them. It really got on my nerves as the characters come to each table and spend lots of time with the children so why be so rude and impose on 2 younger children's special moments.

Went to WCC in June food great, dh9 enjoyed the activities, I'd not told him what to expect, so it was really funny watching his face. CM was really good as well.
