no I can get my cricut but I can't get to any embellies. all my metal, brads, buttons etc are in the red thing. Even then I have to take the whole drawer out to get anything out! LOL

Looks great! I just told my husband today that I want to move out this old rolltop desk that we have and put shelves all the way up the wall behind it for my scrapbooking stuff. I've already taken up the adjacent wall with a scrapbooking area (two desk type centers for scrapping on), but there is no place to store other things. He agreed to put up shelves for me. I can't wait to get it all set up. Seeing pictures of your scrapbook area gives me something to aim for. Yours is so organized!

It took a long time and a lot of frustration along the way. I had stuff everywhere!!! But I was so mad when I had bought 5 of the same Snow White, I knew I had somewhere I just couldn't stand it anymore. The great thing about it all is I am getting out of my rut now. I can finally see what I have and just grab it, no more rooting around anymore.

Well, it's not the ideas as much as the time and the fact that when I start someone always starts fighting!

I so need a scraproom makeover...

I'm actually the most unorganized person you will ever know, which is why when I do get something organized I go from one extreme to another. Plus we want to put the house on the market and I figure if it looks good maybe I won't have to pack it all away. lets hope!

Great job - it looks awesome. I just keep looking at my stuff all over the place, shake my head and keep walking. Do you have a table in there? I like to do all my crafts standing also, but then my back hurts from leaning over the kitchen table.

the space is actually the breakfast nook in the kitchen. Our family is to big to fit in the space so we took the table and benches out. 1/2 is my scrap stuff and the other side has a wall unit with baskets and hooks. I think the whole space is 4x5 maybe. Our house is teeny tinny.
I scrap at a big table we have in our living room. I love the table because I can stand to scrap. The down fall to the table is we eat there, the kids do crafts and homework there,so I can never just leave my stuff out. That is tough! I also scrap in the kitchen on the rare occasion the counters are cleared off.

My stuff was everywhere too, as you can see in the pics. I got rid of stuff and all of the things I want to alter got put in a bin and sent to the basement. I can do those later. DH is building bookcases for me to put my albums in and those will be on the far wall of the living room.

My next house I will have a craft room of my own! LOL

Very well organized Buffy!!!
This must have been the time frame where some of us were into reorganizing and cleaning. Since I bought that $10. store model rack last week for 12 x 12paper, I have gotten them all organized. So when i got home from summer school yesterday, the vacuum came out and wow, the room was clean (til i got to work scrappin last night). Figure I only have 3 pages left to complete this book, then it will be clean again. ;)

What a great job Buffy (that's my SIL name too.)

I thought I was going to lose my scrap room with DH starting his own biz, but we are going to turn our guest room into his office, since it only gets used 3-4 times a year, out with the bed, in with a sleeper sofa, So I dodged that bullet, don't know what I would of done if I had lost my space after almost 2 years, I love being able to spread out and leave it if I have too, just shut the door and walk away.

Its amazing how much more you can get done when you know where everything is and what you have too. Enjoy your new organized space.

(Sorry I wasn't around yesterday at all! I went to the zoo (good thing I'm in the zoo swap) and saw The Police last night. It was a fun filled day. )

Nice job! I'm trying to organize my space but my cats keep messing it up. Yeah it's the cats and not me. I have a huge chest of drawers that I have misc. linens stored in. I cleaned out the top drawer and I was amazed at how much fit in there. I did it mainly to keep the cats out of things, but I think I am going to reorganize it and keep only the bottom two drawers for linens.

In all fairness, she didn't swipe my carts, I gave her custody of them till our next crop. Between being in Boston this week and next, then VA for a business trip the following week, I didn't want them to feel unloved, especially since I just bought My World. But now that she is saying she swiped them, I am beginning to wonder if I'll get them back.:scared1: ;) I may have to take her first born, Ryan.;) ;) ;) :laughing:

No everyone that is not DS11's name, but Lisa seems to be projecting her favorite boy name on him.

Yes they are! The "Baby Train" has left our station a long time ago. Luckily I have friends with smaller kids and babies so I can get my "baby fix" anytime I have the need.
