dining plan question

We're considering the dining option and are going next week. Is it only 3 restraunts that use it??? somewhere said additional restraunts were opened to it in high volume crowds. How do you know if they are opened or not?

they are open during park hours (becuz they are IN the parks) and the City Walk ones are open later. It's 3 places in each park and a few in CW. Did you see the thread a couple above your about "dinners"?

Citywalk is not available during peak days. If the park is open until 10:00 PM then you do not get a Citywalk meal with the meal deal. Citywalk won't be available until Aug. 12. To find out what places are included when you go: Go to tickets, click on meal deal. Click on begin purchase and then click on ticket details. Next week when you go, the participating locations are Louie's Italian Restaurant, Mel's Drive-In and the International Food & Film Festival in Universal Studios Florida® AND Circus McGurkus Café Stoo-pendous™, Captain America Diner®, and Comic Strip Café® in Universal's Islands of Adventure®

There are times that others are available like Monster Cafe, Richters, or Burger Digs but there is no guarantee.
