Okay - so I have a few questions. I have NEVER been to Disneyland. :sad2: I live outside Orlando - so I have been to WDW hundreds of times... so I am excited about a new experience. :yay: We are going on a Disney Cruise out of CA next summer and plan to spend a few nights at Grand Californian before we set sail.
1) We are annual passholders at Disney World here in Orlando. Any chance I could get an AP rate for the Grand Californian using the WDW pass?:confused3

2) I called today for reservations (for next July) and was told the rates for 2008 come out next month. Anyone else heard this?

3) Is there a way to get a better rate?

I'm usually the one dishing out Disney advice - so this is new territory for me! I appreciate all the input!

1. Just as DLR APs do nothing at WDW, WDW APs will give you nothing at DL.

2. DLR hotels usually don't seem to have bookings for the next year until sometime in the second half of the current year--this is normal.

3. Don't know.

You can get AAA rates, or if you have a senior adult with you, there are discounts for seniors. I doubt you would want to buy another AP for DL, but there are discounts for those as well, but usually the special AP rates are few and far between so you won't know if there will be a discount or not. There are always 10% off AP rates, but that's the same as the AAA rate. Senior rates are around 30% off, we like to travel with my mom and the discount is great!

Ha! Another great reason to travel with mom and dad! (And I thought childcare was the only one!):lmao:

Thanks for the AAA info - they just got us a great deal for The Cove at Atlantis! :beach:

Wish me luck!
