Hi. Got a rate at Amerisuites WEST for $59 a night. Need to stay near the airport to use the DCL shuttle to the port, but also want the free shuttel to and from the airport. Would also like a shuttle(free) to Universal Studios. Any advice?? Has anyone stayed at the Amerisuites WEST? How is their pool and transfers??? Thanks!!

Is that the same as AmeriSuites Airport? I got a quote for 79.00 per night. We, too, need a free shuttle from the airport. Found Sheraton Suites at the airport for 59.00. Both on expedia.com. Where did you get your quote? Sorry I can't answer your questions but thought maybe your answers could help me decide. We will take Tiffany Towncar to the Port and back to the Airport.

Try Hotwire...you may be able to get the Amerisuites for as little as $33. Even tho' they don't tell you which hotel it is, you can have a pretty good idea by the amenities (typically, only the suite hotels have laundry and microwaves). We have stayed there and used the shuttle the night before, then had Happy Limo take us to the port the next morning. They even have a free continental breakfast...not a bad deal at all!

The parks are 15 - 20 miles from the airport, so you won't find any hotels with a free shuttle to their property from the airport AND a free shuttle from their property to the parks. If you're looking for that much flexibility, you'd probably be better off renting a car.

Universal's not quite as far from the airport as WDW is. Maybe 10 - 15 miles.
