Hi! I'm trying to plan my trip as inexpensively as possible. If renting a car ends up costing the same as transfers for our family of 4, or as a Towncar is there an advantage to a rental car if staying on-site? I have used Disney transportation in the past and have found it very easy and quick, but with all the talk of various cutbacks, am wondering if the transportation was affected. Are all modes of Disney transportation running as frequently? Just trying to make the right decision since our time in Disney is very limited and I don't want to waste it waiting around for a bus!

I haven't really heard much about that transportation experiment, Transportation on Demand, or something like that. From what I have been reading on the boards, it seems as if Disney transportation is still going strong. You my want to post this on the transportation board. You can get Tiffany Towncar for like $80.00 (round trip) for 4. They also have a $5.00 off coupon on their web site. I don't think you can rent a car for $80.00.

Good luck!
