Newbie Question - Coolers?

My wife and I are pros at Disney but are considering Universal for some Florida resident passes with our kids.

One question we had was about coolers in the park - do they allow it like Disney does?

Our kids are young - 4 and 7 - and we like to bring waters, snacks into the parks with us.

Soft coolers, yes. Not big plastic ones.

I've brought snacks into the parks, but never tried bringing in a cooler.
