...just wondered! I'm trying to stay so good, and curtail my spending, and then they go and do something like a 50% off all Cricut merchandise sale (except the Expressions). :lmao:
I saw that too, and can easily justify buying replacement mats and blades at a good price. Can I help it if a cart jumps into my carriage?:rolleyes1 :lmao:

DH is going to the movies with my brother, and they have to pass an ACM. I saw the ad and said, "Honey, if "My World" or "My Community" jumps in the car as you're going by, don't worry about throwing it back out!!" :rotfl2:

My MIL wants to go tonight for the extra savings from 6-9p. Can I help it if she wants to feed my habit???

Have you all seen the thread on the Cricut board about the ACM July 31st sale? It seems that a lady already got a flyer for that sale, and it has a picture (she posted it) of a 4-pack of Cricut cartridges for $159. The cover one is something like Paper Doll Dress-ups. It's in the Cricut chat forum. I'm still holding out for a Pooh or Princess cart!!
Not going to mention the 4-pack of cartridges when DH gets home, if he bought one today! ;)

ok, ok, I fess up. My grandson wanted some craft things and, at 9, he is hardly old enough to go in by himself - I just had to go! We did find his foam shapes, and tiger figure and since they were past the Cricut aisle, my eyes did kinda wander to the left. So, the Mickey fonts cart did call my name, and it came home with us for $49. Why am I such a weakling? Also, and i can justify this for my classroom, they were selling some of their store model paper racks, the ones that hold 28 sections of 12 x 12 paper going down, for a mere $10. It also came home with us too. Sorry I got you all going - just call me an enabler too.:confused3

I don't know why I'm on that e-mailing list. It's just torture. We don't have a single one here. If Mickey was $49, what were the others? I still don't have Animal Kingdom and I'd love Mini Monograms, Tear Drop, and the list could go on. They don't list the price, just 50% off. I wonder if Wal Mart would honor the price even if they list it, since AC Moore wouldn't be competition for my WM.

DH got me Makin' the Grade! I had sent a list of several, in case he wanted to pick one. He told me he looked at all of the offerings on each and decided he "liked this one best"! He's the best kind of supportive husband!! ;) It was regular price $89.99 and then 50% off. The Disney were $99.99 and 50%off at our ACM.
happycampers--I'd print off the email ad and try Walmart. . .you never know! :thumbsup2
I'll be going to ACM tomorrow night and will see if they have any info there.

Someone posted on the Cricut boards (She was from PA, a county that began with a B, I forget the name) that she got a MM cart at her ACM for $11!!!!!!!!! She said they price-checked it 3 times because they were surprised at the price. If any of you go there and they have it for that price, would you be willing to let one jump in your cart for me?:)
Trust me, if I see any carts for under $20 I will be buying them all, even if I have it already. I figure someone from here would want it, and if not, I can always return it.

Buffy, I looked at the box set in the pic on the Cricut board. Did you see the actual ad when you went to ACM? I just wonder what the other 3 in the box are?? :confused3
ETA: I just checked the Cricut board again, and someone had posted that they were on the phone with their ACM, and they had 2 of the box sets in stock. The manager told her that the 4 were the Paper Doll one (Paper Doll Dress-Up or something like that), ZooBalloo, Jasmine, and Printing 101. Hmmm. . .I would love the paper doll one, but I have ZB. What to do???

logan&tylersmama; do you have pictures of the dolls?
Can you please post some??
Are they really on stock right now??
My ACM had no idea what I was talking about, but they did say that their store manager tended to put out the in-store coupons late.
No great bargains on carts today, and I checked three stores; J, M, and ACM in my dress clothes no less. My feet are killing me search for a bargain. I did reward myself with My World, at 50% off, and stocked up on mats.
Does anyone know if there are ACM's near Williamburg, VA. I'll be on a business trip there on the 31st, but did want to blow my per diem on the new cricut bundle.:goodvibes

Faerie,
If I get the set, do you want to buy the other 3? I really just want it for the dolls. No problem if you don't--I just thought I'd mention it! :) Or, if you have an ACM close by, I'd be happy to take the dolls off of your hands! :)

I don't know whether I deleted it by mistake or I didn't get an email flyer this week but I wouldn't have known about this if I didn't see it here. Thank you!
I worked 20 extra hours last week - I'm rewarding myself with a new cartridge! Now off to the Cricut site to decide which one I'd like.

So I decided - I went for Fabulous Finds, and I also stopped at Home Depot to get some aluminum tape so I could try metallic bookplates and hinges and stuff. Won't have time to play with this one for awhile, but it looks fun!

Called both the closest ACM stores today, in Holyoke, MA and Manchester, CT. Neither store had the bundle in yet, or so they told me. While it does look intriging, I may just pass on this group. The school related ones catch my attention more.
BTW, if you CT ladies would like to get together sometime, do let me know.
I can confirm the Manchester, CT doesn't have the four pack nor did they know anything about it. That is the store I go to.
LovingtheMouse, how far from Springfield are you?

It was funny when I got mine today. I was walking to my car thinking I should call one of you from my cell, and then I realized, "Hey, wait, I don't actually know these people enough to have phone numbers!" None of my IRL friends have Cricuts, so I couldn't share my joy with anyone until I got back to my computer:).

I know that feeling Kim! I scored a hot deal on Bazzill at one point and was upset when my friend (who lives in Denver) wasn't home to share my joy.

Edit: They're going to get them but don't have them yet and she didn't know how much they'd be. There is a possibility they'll be there Thursday

Kim, when i called the holyoke mall store this afternoon, the woman said they had about 20 bundles left. Since i can't get there til after summer school tomorrow, i'm hoping they have some left. Before i make this investment Kim, are they worth it, in terms of the carts included? I already have the Jasmine and wonder if i really need the others. Have all night to think this one through. So glad that you were successful. Caroline

I didn't have any of the cartridges, so I feel like I got 4 cartridges for a good price. I like all of them. If I rank them in order of usefulness to me, I'd say:
1. Paper Dolls
2. Printing 101
3. ZooBalloo
4. Jasmine
Paper Dolls has characters you can create or you can use the individual elements that make up the characters. Thanksgiving, St Patrick's Day, brides, grooms, prom, Raggedy Ann and Andy, genie, island girl, mermaid, prince, princess, pirates, several Halloween costumes, super heroes, angels, Santa, Mrs Claus, nativity, and borders....there's just a TON you can do with it!
Printing 101 is great for me because I have 2 DDs in elementary school, so there's lots of stuff I can use. Zoo Balloo will be good for our Animal Kingdom stuff, and I'm sure I'll think of other uses when my head stops spinning:).
I'm happy I got it. They have no cutting mats in Holyoke, BTW. They said to check back on Friday.

Thanks for explaining them all. Printing 101 looks good for bulletin boards (I teach middle school), and so might Paper Dolls. Appreciate your explanations. One way or another, AC Moore will see me tomorrow - they do still have all the carts 50% off. :thumbsup2

Is the Paper Doll cartridge only part of the bundle or can you buy it seperately? This sounds like a fun one to have, but the nearest ACMoore is over 90 miles away for me....plus I already have two of the other cartridges in the bundle. I could really get a lot of use out of all of the wedding stuff right now.

Did get to ACM this afternoon, made the decision not to get the entire bundle, but i did get Print 101. Will work great for my classroom purposes, and scrapbook pages.
Kim1964, they only had the Expressions mats there- others will be in by Friday, they said.
Off to finish my new grand-neice's scrapbook. Caroline
