It's a good friend who knows how to touch your heart with a creative gesture.:)

Yesterday B&MB asked if I needed her to bring anything for our crop today, I said "No, I'm all set unless you could find my sanity".:scared:

Today when Buffy arrived she handed me this:

http://share.shutterfly.com/action/welcome?sid=8AcNGLlm4Ys2w9&notag=1

Ahh, I have my sanity! and it came with my favorite candy.

P.S. She did say instructions for the board will follow.:thumbsup2

Thanks, Buffy, I LOVE my Sanity in a Box!

OMG I LOL when I saw this. My DD decided last week that she was two. I am right there with you. And do you have him trying to get dressed himself, including choosing clothes? Pushing plates of food they don't want and just plain screaming to get your attention!!!!!

Glad I have another gal in my corner. hope you find some sanity soon

YAY!! Moms of 2 year olds UNITE! He isnt choosing his clothes yet, but he threw himself on the floor this morning and wailed because I put his clothes on. :confused3 That was fun. I do remember when my DD decided she could pick out her own clothes... :lmao: We had some interesting outfits!!

I think we need badges of honor. Mine threw a fit this morning because her pancake was on a boo (blue) plate not the orange one! :rotfl:

Oh I am so glad I am not the only one right now, phew!

HA....I remember 2s....believe me, frustration was common at my house too...

Wait till they are tweens and teens...WHOLE NEW WORLD!!! Enjoy it now that the biggest problems are the plate color, and outfits...

I'm a DS vet of a DSS24, DS19, and DS15 (can you say driving soon? :scared: ) Anyway, DSS24, has turned into a truley wonderful man. DS19 thinks he is going to get fired from his job this week (other friends have gotten the axe) and has his first serious GF (who I haven't met yet, but seems to be permantly attached to his ear on the phone). DS15 was so close to failing 9th grade, that I was on pins and needles till report cards came in this year wondering if I was taxi to summer school. And the state thinks he can start to drive in Dec...and THAT is sooooo scarey....

I actually have fond memories of potty training, tantrums, and mass destruction. I also miss the cute chubby cheeks:love: random hugs on my leg :cloud9: and someone really thinking I am the bestest and smartest person in the whole world.

Guys, enjoy...

I am definitely not taking for granted the hugs on my legs, the yuh you (love you), and I know that I am the greatest and the best in his eyes. I watch how much his sister has changed and so the sweet little boy with the occassional tantrums is not lost on me! His sister is still sweet too... when she wants to be. She's 7 and is starting to enter the tween phase (need I say more?).

I think all moms need badges/awards/an adorable sanity box filled with chocolate! :thumbsup2

I love that box. Sometimes you need just something like that to make you realize that everything is going to be OK. My Kids may drive me crazy, but when my DS6 says that he is going to love my forever I just melt.
I love being a member of this board. It makes me feel like I'm not alone with the insanity of life.

Ahh you guys are so sweet. I actually needed the reminder of the sweet moments. The random leg hugs, sloppy kisses and the like. It has been a tough week and just reading that made my morning, thank you!

My other dd is nearly 6 going on 12, there are days I wonder how she grows up so fast.

I haven't posted yet, because I've been so jealous that I couldn't think of anything to say.

It is a wonderful present. Not just because that is one darn exciting exploding box, but because you thought to even make it the first place. I mean, how cool is that? You are so awesome Miss Buffy!

Looking forward to the instructions. My youngest's Kindergarten teacher will need this.

July's a popular birthday month - my Mom turned 47 yesterday (she started young - got married the day before her 18th birthday, had me the following March)

Buffy, did you make your box with the largest layer 9x9 or did you modify to 12x12? I want to make one with a 12x12 bottom layer but I'm afraid I'll mess up the calculations to make the lid fit right... maybe I should have my DBF do the calculations. He is a mechanical engineer.... He should be able to handle some simple fraction math

PrincessNancy96

Little did you DBF know, he was doing all our math homework for scrapping now that we know his job!!! :)

He comes in handy! I'm awful at math so I mess calculations up all the time. He's also a mister-fix-it. He works at a large cell phone company designing phones so he is good at fixing my phone too :D
