I had so much fun this morning with my bug  .........if you cricut owners haven't done this yet, they are soooooo cute. I used the M & F cart and made an icon tag for each character to sign when we go in Oct for Mickey's Halloween Treat.

I did them all 4 to 5" each so there's plenty of room for their siggies.

Did Mickey's shoe, Minnie's shoe, Goofy's hat, Donald's Hat, hydrant for Pluto, leaf for Chip, acorn for Dale and purse for Daisy, they turned out so cute if I do say so myself. DD is  them big time!

Planning on bringing a black sharpie, they are stiff enough (used really heavy black cardstock for my shadow's) so they will be able to sign no problem.

Just had to share!

Thanks,
Lisa

I just started playing with my M&F cart. I love the idea of using the icons for autographs!

I have a Cricut. I have both Disney cartridges. I am leaving for WDW in 30 days. I don't work over the summer. I bought a small clipboard to take for character signatures to go in the WDW scrapbook. I *know* I have time to do the same thing, but I am SO intimidated by my Cricut. I took it out of the box once, cut out a "Thanks" with the George cartridge to make a card for DD#1's teacher. That's it. I've had it since May.

Someone tell me to just do it! (And then come here and show me how!)

do it, Do It, DO IT.........just play around with it, I was afraid when I first opened it up, but love seeing what I can create with it. I even joined my first swap and am using my cricut! Even my DH was impressed by the tags and he's not a Disney freak like me and DD.

Sorry I can't give you visual help, I'm learning by trial and error, but its fun and I look forward to scrapping my MHT trip with them.

I'm going in Sept and I think that I'm going to try that for signatures. I made an autograph book for a trip before, but I wanted to do something different this time. Great idea :thumbsup2

I have never posted a picture......can someone walk me through it in very easy steps? I do have a digital camera but have never downloaded anything from it. Also in my user CP it says I can't post attachments, would that stop them from being posted.

If someone can help me out I would love to show off my work.

I will be out of town until Friday, so will check in then.

Thanks,
Lisa

What a cute idea! Can't wait to see the pics!!

Kim- Just get it out and do it! Use some cheap paper, cut some stuff, and get the feel for it... it really is user friendly :teeth:

Good Luck!!!

This is a great idea! I may do this for our September trip--it would be a unique way to put them in the scrapbook. Of course, I'm still hoping that ProvoCraft will announce a POOH cartridge!! That would be wonderful, too, and I could do those icons for my CP breakfast! Not that I'm demanding, or anything! :rotfl2:

Great idea! I really want the Mickey carts but am trying to be good and not buy anything until after i get back from vacation. Besides I hate paying full price for anything and I can never seem to get in on the internet deals when these carts are available.

The people on the tech board posted instructions on how to post pictures. If you want to e-mail the picture to me, I can post it for you.:)
