More entertainment book questions

I know the current ones expire end of Nov 2007. We are going the first week of December-I know I need a new 2008 book for those discounts.

Question 1:
Can I reserve the HoJo with the ER now even without the card? Do I just tell them I'm buying the 2008 bk when it comes out?

Question 2:
And it does NOT have to be the Orange county entertainment bk right? It can be my local book (WA) but I just have to bring the card from it.

Question 3:
Can it be a copy of the card? My MIL has one for her state (and gets one each yr) and said maybe I could use her card as a copy? I thought not but thought I'd ask.

I can answer one of these questions, Abookworm! Yes, you call Hojo direct and ask if they have the entertainment rate for your dates, and then you present the card when you arrive.

No. You need to have a real plastic card. However, you can use your MIL's actual card if she will mail it to you. Then you can just mail it back when you're back from your trip.

Agreed, if she gets the new book, just have her mail you the card right away! Our new books come out here in August, so she'll have plenty of time to mail it to you!
