Scrapping with Swapped Items 2- Winner TPCShauna

I'm posting this here because it is a challenge only those who have swapped items can do and it didn't seem fair to post it on the scrapbooking forum.

From today until Monday August 20th (about 5 weeks), post your pictures of layouts you create using at least TWO swapped items. These are NEW layouts, not ones you have already done. Any swapped item can be used. You do not need to remember which swap or who they came from. Your pages must be 6x6 or bigger. But any size variation is welcome. They can be single pages or double layouts, but each page must have two swapped items. Your name will placed in the Disney jar for every page you create up to 15 pages. This is not a who did the most or best. It is for everyone who tries.

If you are unable to post pictures, or don't know how, you can email them to me and I will post them for you.

The winning name pulled will receive a ribbon album in peaches, blues, and pinks. I will post pictures after I decorate and embilish it a bit.
The winner will also host the next round of this challenge. So only enter if you are okay with hostessing.
This is open to old swappers, new swappers, anyone who has swapped here is welcome to join this challenge.

Using swapped items makes the pages go so much faster. I love having beautiful embellishments that are ready to put on the page. I suppose I could get things done ahead of time myself but it is so much easier to use those swapped items.

Love the layouts! And I love seeing my stuff being used! Yep - Ariel was from the Character swap hosted by RealMickeysGirl waaaay back when.

You're really good about knowing who made what. I kept all my swap items in their original baggies for a long time but when it got out of hand I had to consolidate baggies to save space.

SIOH - I also love the Bling! I'm a new Bling addict myself - I just love the pop it gives to pages!

I'm going to a crop tomorrow so I should have some pages on the board after the weekend!

Ok, blonde moment.. is the "bling" the shiny stuff from Bazzil (like the metallics?) Sorry... I've just started using Bazzil in the last few months so I'm in the learning curve! ;)

The green paper in SIOH's top layout is Bazzill Bling. The pink might be too but I can't tell with the lighting. Bling is glittery and kind of glossy. It's really pretty and it comes in a ton of shades and it's as addictive as candy. I don't use a lot of Bazzill yet - I'm too cheap to have converted all my cardstock needs over to it, but I can't stop buying the Bling!

NEE, I'm a Bling girl, too, now. I bought my first for the ABC Swap, and then I fell in love. I keep buying it at Hobby Lobby when they have the 50% paper sale. I get it in the packs--then I hit ACMoore when they have the big paper sale.

I think the pink paper is from the Bazzill Basics "Fun" pack that I got at ACMoore. It's more the waffle texture, but it's not bling. :)

I love seeing you using things that are fairly recent swap items. I haven't gotten to them yet.

Also you used 4 squares on the restraunt opener page so that counts as a page. It is not each persons swap items as a whole but an individual piece.

I got 4 pages done last night at my crop. I used two of the color page kits from a swap a gazillion years ago. These pages went together so quickly with these page kits. It was amazing because it usually takes me forever to do my pages and these were easy. I look forward to putting more together that are this easy to produce.

I'm sorry to say that I don't remember who did the blue kit but the green kit was from WDWMom.

It is similar to the paper bag albums in size and shape but it is made of sheets of colored and patterned cardstock and then bound with a ribbon.

The picture of the "box" frame do not even do it justice it is the coolest thing. It even came with plastic in the center so it actually LOOKS like a box.

Yeah, yeah, yeah... I believe I have supplies to redo the boxes. The other pieces from the swap, I know I don't have anymore of the patterned paper and I bought the last of it, but the box was cardstock. Oh wait, it also had little wood cacti on them...not sure if I can get more of that, as the shop I got it from went out of business, but I will look at Michaels.

Okay, Michaels has the wood cacti, so I am good on making boxes. Some people wanted FON stuff too, so I think what I will do is "take orders" in advance of the Surprise swap, and then for those people I will make sure that they get the pieces they want, even if I end up making a different item for each person in my group. :rotfl2: I'll show up at Kat's house with a list of my own, as if sorting wasn't crazy enough. :rotfl:

I've been thinking about scanning all my items and putting them on a website anyway. I haven't been feeling the creative juices lately, so I haven't been signing up for swaps. But I'm missing out on so much good stuff, I was thinking I could make extras of things I had already done to trade for things others had made in previous swaps. So that will be my plan for next week.

I got a kick looking at NEE's pictures. I've decided to go with Buffy's Binder System, and those are the pieces I sorted last night. You and Nancy need to write a book extolling the virtues of NPMBs (Nancy's Priority Mail Boxes) and BBS's (Buffy's Binder System) for all your organizational needs. Nicely supplemented with Target $ spot items and Walmart Sterelite drawers. And that would explain my storage space. :lmao:

nope noone has done a pp of stitch yet *cry* (at least that I am aware of) I am scrapping my own pages still and am on a serious roll. I am hoping to get most of my swap stuff scrapped this weekend and then I figured I'd give it a whirl.

For the surprise swap I was already planning on doing a group for the Hope fans as well as for paper piecings since I know myself I love them. I am also going to be adding some other groups for some fun. I am excited that so many are looking forward to the swap. It makes it nicer that I have Hope to help swap it out so the size isn't affected.

Are we aloud to make random stuff for the pass it forward swap or must they be old swap items etc? I have not swapped in a while and don't think I can really commit still, so when I paper piece for myself making an extra or two and putting it on the pass it forward thread would be a way for me to get some items.... Just a though totally okay if people say no. Which reminds me I have two paper pieces I am redoing larger...

I finished two more pages. All of the embellishments are from swaps. The altered paperclip is from rlovew in the swap we did last month. The primas were from Angelmom in a swap a gazillion years ago. I just love the sparkly, girly Tinkerbell paper and picket fence diecuts!

Sure I will! but you have to tell me when your birthday is..lol.. I am so addicted to making these books. I think I may need intervention..lol.. It takes me about 6 hours to complete one. But I am getting really good at putting them together. and my favorite part is getting the colors to look just right. I wish I had more carts for my "bug" it would make embellishing them so much funner and easier. I am not very creative.

The colors for Meg's book are maroon, red and pink which look so unbelievable together.
