I would like to know how you guys make these awesome creations.
I would love to be able to do this, but am at the top of the list as
far as dummies go.

Is there a certain program that most of you use to be able to do
these wonerful disney characters. Are you drawing them ,
then scanning. Are you finding the pics from the internet,
then using a program to design. And what abut the pics
that you take from your camera.

I went to every store I could think of and all I found was photoshop programs (around 50-100 bucks).
None were disney however.

Should I even be looking for a photoshop program?

Help!!!!!!!

Any help would be appreciated
Thanks,

I use photoshop elements. I think it was $75 at Costco. Then I took a class that was about $30 on their website. It had video tutorials (which were very helpful for slow learners like me).

You can download free trials of things like PaintShopPro and PhotoImpact and see how you like them to get started. I'm not if PSE has a free trial.

It's fun!

PS: I'm getting all my clipart and backgrounds from googling images.

I was photoshop dumb, so that did not help me at all. The program I love and was really easy to learn how to make work was photo impact. I down loaded the free trial version and love it so much I ended up buying it. I also searched the internet for some tuturials and played around with all the buttons to see what things did. After a few tries I got the hang of it and things are looking better now =)

I find all my pictures on the internet. Clipart sites that are all listed in the Tips and Tricks thread, plus I MSN search for other pics as well. Remember the larger the picture, the easier it is to work with. Downsizing is a lot better then making a picture bigger.

I haven't placed any of my Designs on here yet as what I made I want to be unique for my family, but plan on posting what I made after our trip so others can share it!
