It said that too when we were there and it really ended up being around 87 or so (straight from my car thermometer) but as much as I want to say go for it, I think you are smart to wait till October!

Actually it is probably right... There was some tropical storm thing that went though CA dropped the temps, and it actually rained in the Bay Area yesterday in July..... I have no memory of that ever happening before in my lifetime...

The local weatherman said last night that the California weather front is pushing the hot air up north.
What I wanna know is, how the heck did they figure out how to do that?! :lmao:

I'm in San Jose (North of LA) and it's been windy and chilly last few days. Not saying it's "cold" but it sure isn't HOT! The cold air pushes down from Alaska that's why. Actually I like it, last year around this time it was 115! NO NOT KIDDING. It was awful. Dont' know how some of you who live in Arazona can stand it! :confused3

I hope it does not stay mild. The turn out will even be greater. I do not live in Arizona but the trick is keeping well hydrated and getting acclimated, does not happen in a short period of time.

Well, we are in a heat wave up here! The thermometer is hovering just below 40 C. Sorry, I don't know how to convert it to F.
I'm going to go and have a cold shower as I can't stay upstairs any longer-No air conditioning at my house.

In regards to F and C degrees 38 C = 100 F
which is where we are today I believe. :scared: :cool2:
I tried to prepare the kids for the hot hot weather of California,
but I guess I just have to say it's the same as here:rolleyes1

Wow! It was 28/85 here today and is going to be 33/91 in a couple days. When we were in Kelowna last year it was 42/107 hot hot...but I love dry heat! I hate humidity though.

Hello there Idahoans! LOL My family lives in Boise and in Fruitland! LOL I drive through Nampa everytime I go home to visit. :) Currently in my neck of the Bay Area California (Suisun City to be exact) it's been in the low 80's.....absolutely beautiful! Especially compared to the 4th when it was 105-112 depending on where you were!! I much prefer the 80's! LOL Can't wait to get to DL next week! Hopefully the weather will be just as great!

I live around 10 miles northwest of DL and it has cooled down alot. It was in the low 80's today here. I hope all of you have great weather when you come out. I am headed to Las Vegas on Monday and my sis says it is hot out there. But it is dry heat. LOL Heat is heat to me.

Come to NJ where you can feel your hair frizz on your head from humidity or you can just go to WDW during the summer and feel the same thing.

The last few days here in Spokane it's hit above 100 and today I think it's going to be around 102-103!
And the really bad part is.......OUR HOUSE DOESN'T HAVE AIR CONDITIONING!:scared:
We're sweltering to say least, and the next couple of nights it's only going to get down to 70-71, so we won't even be able to cool off our house and ourselves at night.:sad2:
Oh what I wouldn't give to have Splash Mountain and Grizzly River Run in my back yard right now!:cloud9:

68 degrees, nice little breeze coming off the beach, water color is deep blue (meaning "happy seas" meaning "nice tomorrow"), sunshine today. No air conditioners, no screens on the windows, no bugs.
I live here for the above reasons! :cool1:

To BlackJackDelta...
Follow the California coastline as far North as you can go.
Rural, redwoods, deserted beaches, beautiful.

Absolutely love the area. Worked for the forest service back in the mid 60's and had the opportunity to be in the area, unfornuately working with borate bombers fighting fires, You are right, great area.
