AKV construction map?

I have looked through all the pages of this forum that show on my computer, and can't find the map that showed construction and/or views at AKV. Could someone point me in the right direction? Search could not find even one thread.

they are trying right now to have most of the bad stuff - wall tearing - plumbing moved - in all the rooms.

so by Sept the AKL will be quiet again. Doesn't mean they will be finished - it just means the destruction work will be completely.

As spicey said, the construction map is out of date now. The area outlined in red (the concierge and value villas) will now be open on Dec 1, 2007 rather than May 2008.

What's not clear is when the Kudu trail will open. It was originally scheduled for Dec 2007 but it's not clear if that date is still valid since it seems they shifted the priorities around to get the concierge and value villas done earlier.

Thanks so much, the important part for me was the value rooms. I snagged one for a very short stay during mousefest in December.

just curious are the concierge rooms regular size or value? I am guessing that they wouldn't be smaller size but I was curious b/c of location.....

All of the AKL rooms on the 6th floor are "deluxe" size rooms, so the villas on that floor will not be value-sized villas. The Value villas are the result of converting the "standard" size AKL rooms along the front and back of the Giraffe and Ostrich trails (the two short hallways along the front of AKL).

Thank you for the detailed description! We bought DVC a few months ago and our waitlist for AKV conceirge came through last week for next April. We are soooo excited! I have been searching around for details about room locations.
