View Full Version : Planet Hollywood - using TS and $15 voucher on same bill? separate bills?

So, between our two rooms, our family will have $30 in vouchers for Planet Hollywood. I was thinking if $30 wasn't enough for our snack/meal, we might use a TS credit. Would there be any problem using these vouchers (for OOP purchases) and a TS (for a one credit meal) on the same bill? Would we need two bills (one for each room) to use the vouchers?
TIA!

When we recieved our vouchers for Planet Hollywood in March it says on the bottom that they cannot be used in conjunction with DDP or any other discounts, which was a bummer because they went unused. Maybe this has changed, but I haven't heard.

Huh. Thanks for letting me know. I think that solidifies my decision only to use the vouchers there -- for a snack, maybe (we might be able to get a couple of appetizers and some non alcoholic drinks for $30, assuming we can use two vouchures together)

We did use ours in conjunction with the DDP last August.
But it was a different coupon then.
It was get a free platter meal (burger, pasta or salad)
We used it for my son to get a burger, and the rest of us used the DDP. That is what we hoped to do this year too.
If not, we will use it for a Chocolate Ghiradelli Brownie one day. It was definately the best dessert of our trip last year!

Just a wild guess, but maybe split the check and pay for part with the voucher/cash and the other with the DDP.:confused3

Has anybody used more than one voucher at a time?

I hate to have the $15 go to waste so I am planning on using it for a few non-alcoholic drinks for the kids as a treat.
Where is Planet Hollywood located?

I think this is the best plan. It's a fun place to go, but not the best place to eat and I wouldn't burn up any credits on food there - the food is inconsistent and sardines have more room in a can than diners in PH. Up near the bar area there is a lot of room to sit and have a fancy non-alcoholic drink and you can taken in the whole atmosphere.
I did read a few months ago that a large group was able to use all their vouchers on one check so I'm sure having 2 wouldn't be a problem.
Be sure to have your picture taken when you enter, it was $20 for a package that included a 5x7 in a stand-up frame, 2 key chain photos and 2 wallets, and there's no obligation to buy it. The picture we received there was better than any of the photo pass ones we got at the park.
Planet Hollywood is in Downtown Disney - you can't miss it if you look up (was under more construction in May so not very pretty). I think it was across from the movie theater and the pleasure island places were inbetween there and the shopping.

this last May we used out voucher for 3 appetizers for the 2 of us. It was too much! sept. we plan on using the $15 voucher for 2 appetizers. but I do wish they would give you something else when you are on the DDP. last sept we ended up with unused CS credits. the last thing we need in sept. is more free food!
however, the appetizers were tasty, and it's a cool place to look around.

Anybody successfully does this recently? I was just looking over our paperwork today and came across this voucher--we already have ADRs to eat here one evening and planned on using 2 TS credits. If we could split the check, we could save one of those credits for a "better" meal.

I had the same question about using the $15 voucher and the DDP credits, since we will be a large group and I thought we could save at least one credit for each room by using the vouchers, maybe more. When I called to make an ADR I asked about it and was told that you can use both at the same table, but you need to have a seperate ticket for the person using the voucher. Hope this info helps.

I've yet to have seen a restaurant that wouldn't allow guests to split the check.... So I don't see why PH would be any different. Just have them split the check and when they bring it back, you pay with the DDP and the other person with the voucher. Shouldn't be any probs. If so, then you should ask for the manager.

Never hurts to try, right? When DH and I discussed this same topic over lunch today he joked that if they won't let us split the checks, he'll ask for a table for one and DS and I can sit together at a different table :rotfl: .

Sorry to hijack the thread, but can you order take out at PH and pay with the voucher? I know we don't want to waste time eating there, but i don't want it to go to waste!
