Where did you stay and when? What pullout bed style did you have?
ie: Pullout with the bar across :eek: the middle or the new :cloud9: pullout with the cushions as a part of the bed or other.....

Wilderness Lodge Villas in June 2007 & the pullout bed had the dreaded bar :sad2:

BCV Rm. 120 has the quite comfortable new pull-out bed (which doubles as a fairly uncomfortable couch).

Really?? I didn't think SSR had anything other than the memory foam mattresses on the sleeper sofa, not the older style mattress. Hmmm. :confused:

Nov 2006 at VWL we had the old style with the bar. Jun 2007 at BCV we had the newest style where the cushions did not come off.

Last month in a HHI studio, the pullout bed was the uncomfortable model with the bar in the middle. We're going to WLV in August, and I am disappointed to read that we'll likely have the same kind there.

Really?? I didn't think SSR had anything other than the memory foam mattresses on the sleeper sofa, not the older style mattress. Hmmm. :confused:

I agree. I have not seen anyone but Starr W. report this, however, about SSR. Perhaps this one room got swapped out for some reason or there was some other form of confusion.

The newer MFRC style (Memory Foam Removable Cushions)

The newest NRCPS style (Non Removable Cushion Pillow Storage)

July 2007 (just back) this is what we had:

I agree. The responses are a little dissappointing. We will be at BCV in a studio in August and I had really hoped DS(14) would get to sleep on the new sofa beds. Last year in our 1 bedroom, he did not enjoy the sofa bed very much.

It almost sounds like hit and miss although I thought DVC said they would all be replaced by now!:confused3

2BR BWV - #1125,27 both pull-outs were the new style and got rave reviews :thumbsup2

I was mildly amused by the laminated set of directions left beside the couch to instruct the user on how to open the thing. DW actually called "Mousekeeping" for pillows because she didn't realize they were inside the bed! :)

Can anyone get a little inside info on this topic? You guys would come up with a hard date and opening price per point on the Contemporary first. ;) Has anyone had the new pullout at the VWL yet?

Just got back from VWL. We had the old style with the bar across. The mattress was also slanted so that whoever slept there had to sleep with their head slightly elevated. My 6 yr old and 8 yr old slept on it with no problems, but I know it wouldn't have been comfortable for me.

BWV Studio 7/24 New style sofa bed/non removable cushions/directions included. I'd have no problem sleeping on this.

VB Studio 7/29 Old style sofa bed with bar across the middle. The frame and the mattress have seen better days! Wouldn't even consider letting anyone sleep on this! :scared1:

Thanks in advance!I believe that it depends upon the size of the accomodations. I believe that studios have a full (i.e. double) bed pull out, 1 bedrooms have a queen pull out and a 2 bedroom either has 1 queen pull out (dedicated) or 1 queen pull out and 1 full pull out (1 bedroom + studio).

I'd like to bump this thread. We're headed to BCV to a 1-bedroom in about a month, and it's going to be fairly important to our plans that the pullout is the new kind, and that it really is the size of a queen. Any other reports from BCV?

We were there over Halloween in a dedicated 2 bedroom...still the bar on the sofa bed in the living room. DSis had a studio, and the same type of sofa bed was in that as well.

Stayed in OKW 1BR 2221 in October. We had the new style sofa bed for our DS3. He seemed to like it okay. I laid on it a couple of times and it didn't impress me. :confused3
