Going to Daytona 500! Making ressie tomorrow, need info on Kiddie Pools.

Well I'm not going to the race but dh and his brother are going Sat & Sun. Kinda a gift to his brother.

I got to thinking.........if he's gotta drive anyway and I can get away, and the girls aren't in school, and our annual passes are good till May, and the youngest doesn't turn 3 till April, and....you get the point.

Might as well stay in 1 bed instead of the studio that they would've needed, extra points but that's okay.

This is all being done on a whim. We got the race tickets.
I'll call tomorrow to see what's available room wise. Should there be a problem cause it's pres wkend? OKW is probably our best choice, more rooms, lower points. Is there a kiddie pool there?
Although I would prefer VWL, I love it there. But need to try something new also.

I am just looking forward to hanging out for a few days, and the girls are happiest swimming. The youngest could spend all day at the kiddie pool at VWL. Wherever we stay it HAS to have a kiddie pool. Do all DVC's have one?

There's a kiddie pool at the main pool and the other large pool area, Old Turtle Pond....not sure whether they have a kiddie pool at the two other "quiet" pools. FYI -- at Vero, instead of a kiddie pool they have water play area/playground where the little ones go down a pirate ship. BWV also has kiddie pools.

I hope you get something. I have a friend who got something at OKW and has been waitlisted for BWV for a 2/24 arrival.
