Luau and Dinning Plan

I saw some older posts on this put wonder if the policy had changed. I am traveling in December and just made our ADRs for the luau for a party of 14. They took my credit card number and charged it, although we are planning on using the dinning plan. Previous posts said their credit card numbers were taken and not charged but the posts I could find in this were several years old. Did the CM make a mistake or is this a new policy? Should I call back?

They made a mistake. They do take your CC# but if you are using the DP it should not be charged unless you do not show up.

So after searching for more info on these boards it appears that maybe I was charged for the luau on my credit card, although we are using the dinning plan, since our trip overlaps into 2008, and all the uncertainty with the dinning plan in 08. Does that seem logical?

and i was given incorrect dates for some of my ADR's! So it turned out to be a blessing because I was able to "fix" my ressies!

I made a Luau ADR our upcoming trip in Sept. Using the DP. They did take my card # but was told only will be charged if we don't show up.
