Howdy ..

Thanks to all the advice on here our trip is just 1 week away.... San Francisco to DLH (7 days) via Yosemeti, San Simeon and San Diego. I have 45 pages of A4 (Thanks HydroGuy) printed - so I have lots of good advice.

Our DD (5) will be a DD(6) on July 29th and we need to know what the best Character meal would be for her on that day. She has a DD (7) with her.

We have an Ariel dinner on hold ... but she keeps telling us she wants Minnie Mouse now as Ariel would be in the water and her food would get wet!!!! :rotfl2:

Would it be too late to change? WHats the best one to do.

The 29th (Sunday) will be our 4th of 7 days - so we are flexible.

Any other tips to make her bithday the best ever are much appreciated!

I would definitely suggest the Plaza Inn (where they do the Minnie & Friends breakfast at DL).

Disney has some info about birthday's on their website: http://disneyland.disney.go.com/disneyland/en_US/moreMagic/specialOccasions/detail?name=BirthdaysDetailPage

ETA: Be sure to stop by City Hall on your way in the park in the morning to pick a Birthday Badge for her! As long as she's wearing it, she'll probably get some special 'treatment' from observant cast members ;)

Call Disney Dining and see if you can get a PS for Minnie and Friends: 1-714-781-DINE (3463).

It's worth a shot! If you can't make a reservation for the date you want, you can just keep the PS you already have for Ariel's, and assure your DD that she can visit with Ariel on her way in to the restaurant. (Ariel no longer walks around the room in a dress, but has a greeting spot which guests visit on the way to be seated.)
