I'm going to disney in three weeks. I've been trying to see if it would be better to stick with my aaa rate or buy an ap and use their rates. I called wd and she said that I had to have an ap for a year to use the code rates. I tried the wd site but couldn't figure out how to apply the codes. Please help.:surfweb: Thanks

I've never had an AP so I don't know if what the CM said was true, but you will have a hard time getting a ressie on the Disney website, I bet. Everytime I go there, it's on maintenance...
On the other hand, if you do get it to come up and still can't figure out what to do, trying calling Disney reservations again to speak with someone else. If you've read enough posts on the Dis, you'll know that different CMs give different info. You just have to find the one that knows what he or she is talking about!!

Just call back and ask that you would like to check on the annual pass rates at x resort for x dates. they should check for you and and then ask if you want to book it. If you book you, she will read a disclaimer to you saying that you will need to show your AP when you check in. So you can just buy a voucher before you check in and you'll be fine. I have never been asked to show my AP at check in, but others on here have been asked.

the discounts are a published amount off. So in trying to decide which is better you can always look up the information and do the calculations....
Which hotel were you wanting to stay at?
Do you currently have a package or a room only reservation?
How long will you be staying?
Will you travel again in the next 12 months? If so how long will that trip be?

Oh I forgot also what kind of ticket/ap would you be wanting?
