Banana Boat ride get a big Thumbs up!!!!

DH and myself did the Banana Boat ride on our Janaury 17th Wonder cruise on Castaway Cay and we had a blast. We even got dumped and still had a great time. It's probably the cheapest excursion or activity that DCL offers and probably the most fun. You need to be at least 8 years old and being able to swim is a plus. I could not believe how far out they take you and seeing the Wonder that close up was awesome.

A must for all you future cruisers!!!!!!:bounce:

We loved our Banana boat ride too! I didn't get seasick, I laughed and hollered the whole way! My son (10) bounced up and down on the seat and complained that we weren't going fast enough :eek: It was fast enough for me!

I had the kids, who were sitting in the very front, wear their swimming goggles, following the suggestion of a poster here. Boy, was that ever good advice! Wish I had worn mine! The sea spray/big splashes of water just covered my sunglasses and mixed with sunscreen kind of stung my eyes. Nothing too bad, but the young lady behind me didn't seem very happy with all the spray in her face.

So, wear some eye protection and have fun!

Does anyone have pictures of this? I am very curious to see what it looks like. I think my DS11 and maybe DS9 would enjoy it, but I need to see it first before I even give them the idea that such a thing is available!
