For all you Pats fans, a little local connection...the Pats former kicker, Adam Vinetari lives here in Celebration.

Durango, Vinetari's house is on the golf course isn't it. I played the course a couple years ago and I thought it was one of the big ones across one of the water hazards with a gator. Actually I could swear I ricocheted of the gator teeth and crossed the water and landing in his yard. I call myself a trick shot golfer. I think I have been able to hit three roofs off the tee.:rotfl2:

Hi everyone,

I've been lurking, but not posting, but after reading the last severaly pages I felt it was time to chime in.

We (Me, DH & DD(10) along w/friends dw, dw ds-11, ds-8)actually leave in 7 days and this will be our first DCL.

First thank you to one and all that post here and on other threads, as all the info. has been extremely helpful in the planning, but also that I'm not crazy for being organized.

:cheer2: My DD and I finished our door stuff this a.m. and I'm off to finish to Disny PJ bottoms. May not be the best sewer in town, but this I can handle. Just wish I could get a handle on the packing. I've packed once, took 1/2 out and it still looks like a lot of stuff. I just have to keep telling myself we are going to be gone for two full weeks.

We rec'd our docs 2/1/08. Not much there, though I hope it's because I followed everyones advice and complete all my docs. on line.

Bridge to Terebithia is a real tear jerker. I'm a stoic, and I teared up at this one.

Two weeks from now I will be dressing for dinner on the Magic. Course, I guess tonight isn't too bad--I'm dressed up for the symphony waiting for DD to be ready.

Jodijo: Where is Penryn, CA? I live in Escondido, CA -- about 30 miles north of downtown San Diego. See you in two weeks.

Penryn is about 30 miles from Sacramento towards Reno. We are in Northern CA at the base of the foothills.

See you Soon!!!!

RE: Bridge to Terebithia

I am a big cry baby... on a scale of 1 to 10 how sad is this movie. I heard it is good and also heard it has a sad scene.

I am excited that Enchanted is playing. I love that movie, especially the cleaning scene and the "How will you know". I don't know what it is... I will be 43 next week and when I see the pricess I am instantly 12 all over again.

Counting the hours... :-)

on a sad scale of 1-10...this movie is an 11 pushing 12

Alrighty then... I think I will pass. Anyone want to meet up to watch Enchanted together (or another movie like Nat'l Treasure)?

I am just sitting here checking to see if anything new posted while I cut out little Mickey heads from paint samples. May I suggest "Alien Green" for the cruise meet? I am going to write our first names on the Mickey head.

BTW: Anyone else sleeping with their Passporter book? I love that book. This is my second copy (had one for my first cruise in 2005) and already pre-ordered the one coming out in a month or two. :-)

Have a great day!

Looking forward to meeting you. Please come and join us at the meet (3PM by Goofy's pool).

We are definitely going to be seeing both movies. We can check the navigators and see if it works out.

We picked up 10 yesterday at Home Depot. We only need 4 so we have extras for anyone who needs them.

My DH found the Passporter guide when we were just considering a cruise as opposed to going to WDW. It's been on the bedside table since then. We look at it all the time.
In fact his comments are in the front of one of the versions.
Have a great day!

I hope you have a safe trip and a great precruise vacation. It seems like the perfect end to a WDW vacation. After the hectic pace of the parks the ship will be wonderful.

We don't have our documents yet. For those of you who have, What is in it? We did our online check in and I can't rembember what else comes with them.

We leave in 10 days but who's counting:lmao:

Late seating, don't know rotation....didn't request. Unfortunately, my favorite server is no longer with DCL. Good for him, sad for us.

I'd love 2 paint chips. I have my Disboard lanyards from the Panama Canal cruise.....

Went thru my dressy clothes last night. I'm running a special on "too big or too small." However, have enough separates to make do, and bought one new outfit. It was a rude awakening--I have to lose weight! Again!

Hi Sandra (et al),

Obviously not a Super Bowl person if I am on the board...

Anywho, went to a different site and printed put the 1/19 Eastern Navigators. If it is the same (or very similiar) when we are on board, Enchanted was the big Tuesday night, everyone together movie. Nat'l Treasure plays several times during the week as does Enchanted.

I am actually a Redskin fan living in New York. I have to cheer for the NFC by obligation and the fact I don't need my young sons getting their but kicked at school after cheering with Daddy against the local team. It would have been also cool to see a perfect record. Maybe next year.

Where did you find the 1/19 Navigators. I'd love to print them out so we can start planning and make sure we fit everything in.

Our DD13 is sick right now, fever and sore throat, and will miss school tomorrow. It might be fun for her to look them over.

It would be great to see the movie on the big screen at the Walt Disney Theater. On our last cruise they played the Pirates of the Caribbean III movie. I don't like them so we didn't bother to go but I've heard it's a great place to see a movie.

Thanks,
Sandra

I had the link in the message and the site dumped it somehow. (Kept the www and replaced everything else with # signs. I edited it so it did not look so bad). If you go to the castawayclub web site (starts with a "www" and ends in "com") they have links to several Navigators. I chose the most recent Eastern Navigator. I tried emailing the Navigators to me and it did not work. I rpinted each page as a picture. It is a little fuzzy, but mostly readable. There is a lot of other good info on that site, so it may give DD something to do while she is home.

When I was on the ship back in 2/05 the movie was "The Incredibles". It is pretty fun watching the movie in the big room. I really like the smaller theater, too.

Hope DD feels better soon. :-)

Renée

Pitchers and Catchers go to Spring Training next week. Go Red Sox.

Sandra

Being the Durango Kid (Durango Colorado that is!) I am NOT a Sox fan, but I used to have Rox (colorado rockies) season tickets, and am a baseball fan.

We went to a Braves spring training game last year, since they place a Disney's WWoS. We had a very good time.

We have the late seating for dinner and we hope to move to early, which will be my first task upon boarding.

The CastawayClub website is very informative. It was maintained by a Celebration resident who has been on 60 Disney Cruises :thumbsup2 I doubt most castmembers know as much about the ships as she does. So if you ever see any Dis posts by "inkognito" pay attention.

Notice my ability to turn everything back to Celebration :rolleyes1 I should get a job with town hall or something.

Our cruise documents came today. There isn't much in there now with on-line check-in. Still it is one step closer to our cruise.

I'd like to have an idea how many cabins are participating in the Fish Extender exchange. If you are interested please either PM me or post on this thread include your room numbers so we know where to deliver to. I'll make a list for anyone who is interested.

I'm more concerned that you might be upset when we WIN :rotfl: :rotfl: :lmao: Either way we'll still be friends.

We use our breezeway as a freezer/refridgerator most of the winter. It comes in very handy when we have company. Our relatives from FL were here in November and they just laughed when they saw all the "refreshments" outside. There has to be some upside to this cold weather.

Today it is a balmy 50 degrees:cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

:cheer2: :cheer2: Go Pats #19 wins!:cheer2: :cheer2:

But no cruise documents yet:confused3

It was a great game for the Giants. The Patriots were so terrible, it was difficult to watch. It was exciting that it could have gone either way but it was quite frustrating for us. Winning 18 and then losing the BIG one was disappointing. Most people around here were in a funk.

But we are going on a cruise so we're not letting the Patriots get us down.

Hey Eastern Cruisers!!!

We're rocking and rolling out here in the deep blue sea . . . and I'm not just using those words loosely.

Its been pretty rough since we set sail out of Port Canaveral. Just a heads up . . . if you even think you might get sea sickness . . . get a prescription for the patch and have it filled before you leave. Better to have a prescription you don't use than to wish you had one to use and not have it.

Christiian is our Cruise Director and has been doing a wonderful job.

The Adventures Away deck party was great. I like the changes they've made since lasts February. They incorporate High School Musical 2 into the party and it was welcomed by the kids.

The All Aboard Show Saturday night featured Mark Eddie (the replacement for Gary Delana -- his show is similar) and Freddy Fusion.

Magic Quest on Saturday night was an absolute RIOT! I would have to say that is one of the "must see - must do" events on the ship for adults. It precedes Match Your Mate in Rockin Bar D.

Sunday brought to us Twice Charmed with a matinee as well as both regular shows. We also had our formal night changed to Monday night because of the Superbowl.

Sunday night also was Freddy Fusion's adult show and the Spring Break Party which I thought went very well. There was a great crowd in RBD for those.

Monday was The Golden Mickeys with a matinee again. Tonight was the Mark Eddie adult show. Following the late showing of The Golden Mickeys . . . we had an announcement go over the entire ship -- "Brightstar, Brightstar" and other phrases that I could not understand due to a language difference. It was Capt. Thord on the PA. I asked my stateroom host what the code meant and he said it was a medical emergency. I have no idea what happened but it was just after I got back to my room after the show. We were rocking and rolling pretty good so it makes me wonder if someone fell while they were trying to navigate the stairs in the WD Theatre following the show.

Tomorrow is St. Maarten -- we are scheduled to get the all ashore at 8 AM and all aboard is at 7 PM. Of course, we have the Pirate Party at 9:45 PM.

I'll try to check this thread when I log in again.

Palo servers that I recognize are Anne Marie, Noemi, Tomas, Marco, Ciao Romano with PJ as the manager. The others are not familiar faces to me. Louise has left the cruiseline to start her family so she is no longer in Palo.

Oh -- our kids are LOVING playing distag . . . they are very excited when they have mail in their fish extenders.

Oh -- we have LOTS of Louisianians onboard this week - 50 from Kenner, 28 from New Iberia, 30 from Bourg and 14 from Houma. Those are just the numbers from groups I've talked to . . . there is lots of purple/gold daily.

I'll make a note of your room number and post a list that I can add to as people contact me. Then everyone will be able to see it.

DD13 is doing better. I think she'll go to school today. I work at her school and yesterday we had a record 14 kids out and 2 more went home sick. We only have about 130 kids. Some of them have influenza so we were concerned when DD13 had a high temp on Sunday. Now we just have to make sure none of us gets sick we leave in 9 days.

Snowwhite139, welcome aboard! The Dis is a great place to come for all of us that love DCL. My friends don't want to hear about it so it's nice to have a place to go where people are as excited as I am. I'll sign you up for the Fish Extender just let me know your room number when you get it. As noted above I have a DD13 would your daughter be interested in IM or Email with her before the cruise? There is at least one other DD13 going on the cruise and they have connected a bit already.

Photolisa, THANK YOU for your report. How generous of you to take your cruise/vacation time to post information to us. Do you know if the weather is something new and passing through. We were on the Wonder in Feb. 06, the weather was nice and the seas smooth. I was going to skip the patch this year but I'll call the Dr. today.

I hope you all have a wonderful day but I know PhotoLisa will be having one anyway.

Good Afternoon Cruisers!!

I just wanted to get my daily visit in and say hello from Mickey's backyard in Sunny Celebration.

I am packed for the cruise. I just have to wear the same clothes for the next eleven days, but, the wife said pack, so...:worship:

The weather here has been spectacular!! A group of us got together on Sunday before the "big" game, and played flag football in the park and grilled some lunch.

I am looking forward to putting faces with screen names, and then "names" with names!!

My two Cele-Bratz (thats what the out of area kids call the celebration kids at school) are EXCITED and plotting their escape as soon as we board.

BTW: I told them that my b'day is this coming sat. Is it OK to include that on my ressie. The answer was, "of course, it is Disney". We're still here....although after last night's storms, not everyone is so fortunate. Actually, we escaped the rough stuff by about a mile--we have some limbs down, but not any serious damage. DD's school is open although many in the city are closed due to either lack of power or damaged structures.

I mentioned to DD (who turns 17 next week) that there are a couple of 17s on the boards....that's good, but are there any cute guys? hee hee. The funny thing is that she really isn't all that into guys other than beating them at guitar hero and playing chess (the current #1 is that captain of the chess team and he's teaching her to play).

Snowwhite--welcome!

Sandaneli,
I tried to PM you with my daughter's AIM, but apparently I need a higher post count to initiate a PM...? Maybe if you initiate it? Thanks!
Also, Mickey_Mouse 52 is my BIL, so they are counted twice on your fish extenders list.
I bought the fabric to make our fish extender.:)

Hi, all!
My nephew(11) is hoping to play basketball during some of his free time on the cruise. Does anyone know if this is possible, are basketballs available to be used? Also, would anyone be interested in playing basketball if this is possible?
Thanks!

DD13 would like to play basketball. DS16 says that they play basketball all the time so just go and join in. Sometimes the kids might be older but they do make time for younger kids to play too. There have always been plenty of basketballs around when I've been there. Also, the camera that is linked to the stateroom tvs is pointed toward the basketball court so you can even watch from your room or check to see if that is where he is.

BTW: I told them that my b'day is this coming sat. Is it OK to include that on my ressie. The answer was, "of course, it is Disney". So if you are celebrating anything this month (even outside cruise week) give them a call. (And yes, the number is programmed into my cell phone and I have my confirmation in my cell's notepad).

Do you have to make them aware of B-Days, or is it something they pick up on since they ask for everyones with the documents?

We just had my DD11's last weekend, and my B-Day is on the Sunday the 17th, so if that's formal night, everyone gets to dress up for mine.:thumbsup2

Only 9 more days to go! We can't wait the kids are so excited.:yay:

We are celebrating our Leap year DD's 8th Birthday (even though her Bday is not till the 29th we noted it on the ressies)

I know I'm going to over pack. How many Shirts/shorts/pants are you planing on packing per person per day?:confused3

Yes, you have to let them know about the birthday. You can just call Disney 1-800-326-0620. We are celbrating our son's 16th birthday on 2/24.

I plan to do :laundy: once during the cruise that way we don't have to pack too much. I've checked the weather and for the next ten days and it doesn't look too warm 2/16 Cape Canaveral 72 sunny, St. Maarten low 80s and cloudy, St. Thomas low 80s cloudy and showers.

I'll probably pack 4 pants, 2 shorts, 2-3 capris, and a sweater, the ship's air-conditioning is very cool.

I'm hoping to get everyone to pack or at least get everything out so I know it still fits this weekend. But our oldest daughter's baby shower is this Saturday, that will keep us busy. (Our 1st Grandchild:cool1: )

So we have lots to be excited about.:cheer2: We leave one week from today!!!

I would suggest letting them know anyway. When we are board three years ago in February, we needed to remind them. Better safe... :-)

It's best to let them know--the computer is set to tip them off if the B'day is during the sailing, but if you are celebrating one from the week before or week after, they won't catch it.

DD had an interesting comment last night. She doesn't want to take any time off school for college visits!?!? I think it relates to a certain young man at school. I definitely like this kid--the school requires 3 athletic credits for graduation. I've been pushing DD to get her last one done, and there was always an excuse. Now it seems that the young man will graduate this spring IF he gets his last athletic credit, so suddenly DD isn't complaining about "underground lifting society" (a supervised fitness program after school). I no longer care how or why it is getting done, but love that it will be finished BEFORE DD's senior year.

OK, so if there is this guy at school, why does she care if there are any cute guys on the cruise?

Sorry, I'm making her sound boy crazy. She isn't at all--she's a serious musician planning a career in music ministry. But a little eye candy is nice too.

I think we may need to opt out of the formal fish extender thing. Running out of time and have not found a) something to hang and b) something to stick inside. We will have a white board on our door for messages.

If things change I will let you know.

Well Kids,

This time next week I will be frustrated with the kids for not already being in the car. :lmao: Ten minutes after that I will have to turn the car around because my dd will have forgotten her ipod or hair brush or some such indisposable item.

And then seven days of DCL bliss.

Hi Renee,

Don't worry about the Fish Extender exchange. It's supposed to be just a fun thing so don't do it if you are going to be stressed. When are you leaving for Florida?

We leave on Thursday and I still have to make a fish extender and pick up the stuff to deliver to the others. Somehow everything always seems to get done.:wizard:

Has anyone heard from anyone currently on the Magic. Last I heard the sea was very rough and the ship was rolling. I hope it's calmed down by the time we go. Our previous Feb cruise was calm. Let's hope this one is too.

One week from today and we'll be in the town car on our way to Port Canaveral

Hi Sandra,

I leave Friday AM from San Diego, CA. My BFF Bonnie and I arrive within 20 minutes of each other. Andrea arrives late afternoon.

As for rough seas, my understanding is East. Car. can be a little rough, esp. in the beginning. When I sailed in Feb. '05 we had really rough seas, and a lot of passangers (including our tablemate) and some crew had a little trouble. I didn't really notice and I credit that mostly to being full of adrenile, using Bonine (starting the day before sailing) and wearing the wristbands. Since I know that worked for me last time I am doing the same this time.

I just came from the bank and got my tip monies. I broke $100 as follows:

2 -$20s
4 - $5s
1 - Roll of Quarters
30 - $1s

If I need more, I am sure I can figure something out. :-)

Well I am off to do more cruise stuff. This is my last true "prep" day.

TTYS,
Renée

Sandra, for the fish extender exchange, our room is 1039.
I just finished Tinkerbell's fish extender, and will start ours tonight.
Sandra, your explanation and links were very helpful, thank you!! It really breaks it down nicely, and was not too hard, and fun to make.
DD helped me choose the fabric. I debated about hanging a stocking for an extender like someone suggested, but decided to give this a try as a mother/ daughter activity.
Happy packing, everyone!!! :) :) :)

Renee, Those figures for tips sound pretty good. I'll have to bring more quarters because we do more laundry on the ship than most people. I don't sleep well at night and the lights are always on in the laundry so I can read without disturbing anyone. Besides it helps us pack less.:confused3

We started packing today and realized that DD13 has one pair of shorts. No summer tops or bathing suit that fits. Finding those in the middle of winter in Boston is going to be tricky and expensive. Shopping was not on my list of priorities for tomorrow but that's where we'll be.

Sandaneli; I had the same problem with bathing suits, but the Target in Abington has them out already, along with some other summer stuff; I got a new pair of flip flops for the pool on Friday.
JC Penny (at least in the Hanover mall) had suits and summer stuff out also; and a ton of stuff on sale between 3-10 bucks a piece.

Wow...I need this vacation to start!!! I will feel so much better once we leave. I am so stressed about the insane amount of luggage we have this time. I am usually a very good, and light, packer. BUT...with the addition of our sweet twins, Taylor and Bailey (8 months old), that went out the window. I had to pack for 2 adults and 5 kids. The baby supplies, alone, took one giant suitcase. I feel like I am dragging the entire world with us...and my house has been turned upside-down. Plus, I've had the headache of trying to put together wardrobes for everyone in the offseason. I am definately not back into all my prepregnacy clothes and the kids have outgrown a lot of their clothes. AHHHHH...I just want to be in Florida. Deep breath!

I'm not sure what I can ask of our servers in terms of pureed food. Also, even if they can supply it, I don't know if I want to feed the babies at the table. I figured I'd do that before dinner. Atleast most of the baby products will slowly disappear throughout the trip.

I'm not nervous about cruising with the babies. I am very nervous about running out of something that they need.

I'll feel sooooo much better when we pull out on Tueday.

Well, we couldn't hold it anymore. WE TOLD OUR DAUGHTER!!
Yeap! The "ski trip" is officially cancelled... I asked my father-in-law to be our partner in crime, I gave him the little book with the boarding passes and we all sat on the family room. I had the Disney cruise DVD ready to play, and once he gave a speech on how wonderful she had been doing in school and so on, he gave me the sign; I started playing the DVD. He gave her the book and she was so surprised that she could not stop crying!! She was laughing, as she cried, because she realized that she was overwhelmed and that she just couldn’t stop crying.
I thought I would share this happy moment with you; we all share the magic and the joy of being part of something so special: the Disney Magic experience. :wizard:
Now we can enjoy this anticipation together. We'll leave Somers on Thursday after school.

The fish extenders are "organizers" that hang from the fish clip outside your door. Some people put them up and then others can leave notes or surprises. We have a small group participating see post #294 on Page 20. Also you can go to this thread for ideas or information.

Hey All!

Repacked for the second time tonight.... still need to figure out work out cloths, pjs and sundries. I have written down what clothes, which days including shoes and jewelry (tip from Andrea). I am packing one extra pant and two extra shirts -- in case of inclement weight change or want to wear something different. Looks like I will be packing a carry on after all. Was hoping to get it all in one bag. It is mostly all the room extras that are taking up space.

FWIW: I am 43, one length, long (dyed) brown hair and will be wearing light khaki pants, white shirt and light blue denim jacket w/Mickey necklace. I will be with a shoulder length haired blonde (40) and (I think) curly haired woman (reddish) (also 40). Last time I saw Andrea was 5/5/05 for the Disneyland 50th kick-off so I am not exactly sure what she looks like today. We plan to be one of the first buses to port and will be meeting the pubmaster at 1PM (even though none of us drink). If we do not see you before hand, we will be by Goofy's pool at 3PM (which side, and are we the same deck or above it).

Counting the minutes until we meet.

It started snowing this afternoon and the kids were sent home from school early. They are predicting snow through the night and sleet and ice in the a.m. This probably means a snow day for the kids, tomorrow and the start of their vacation since we are leaving Thursday morning for Florida. Unfortunately, we have to work and getting there will be a pain.

I am looking forward to when the mention of snow means Snow White!!!

Hi Sandra,

Yucky weather!!! I hope you have no flight issues because of it. San Diego is starting to have morning dense fog again. No flight delays today... so I am hoping Friday is nice and sunny. My flight doesn't leave until 11:05, so it should be burned off by then (usually by 9). It would be just any back-up at the airport by then.

I have never played "ring the bull". You'll have to show me. I will keep my eyes open for you (even though I have no idea what you look like... :rotfl2: ) I will probably be the hyper one so I should be easy to spot. I will have to try the guacamole when I am on board. Right now I am having visions of Pluto's hot dogs with lots of mustard.

Can't wait to meet everyone. Safe travelling!

Right now I am having visions of Pluto's hot dogs with lots of mustard.

Can't wait to meet everyone. Safe travelling!
Renée

For me it's the Pluto's french fries with lots of ketchup. Wonderful!!!!!

The weather for Thursday night when we fly is supposed to be great. Clear and 40 degrees.

I'll just call out "Renee" when we get to the pub. We just have to have lunch and get the kids settled.

DD15 informed me last night that he plans to stay out until 3am every night. NOT:rotfl: :rotfl2:

Well, I have to go clean the house before I pack. I just can't come home to a messy house. It's depressing enough leaving the cruise and going back to school (where I work) without having to clean the house too.

See you all soon, we're praying for safe travel for everyone.

Here in Somers, NY, We also had about 3-4" of snow last night that changed into Sleet and freezing rain. Now, it is just pouring. The kids were upset that it was only a 2 hour delay for school

On the brighter side, it is a good thing we weren't leaving this morning because they cancelled the Jetblue Orlando flight. We will be in Florida this time tomorrow. A few more finishing touches for packing. A few items haven't arrived in the mail for pirate's night. Hopefully, they'll be at home tonight.

See y'all soon.

Renée

I miss that San Diego weather, I lived in La Jolla for 5 years during college. It is one of the most idealic places to live in the world. I would love to retire there in the future. We'll see where the kids end up!!!

The car is packed and ready to go!!! It definitely has become a tight squeeze with the addition of my daughter. I am sure in the future she'll need the extra bag for clothes but at 8 months it is all filled with diapers, baby food and formula. I can't believe I do not have to work tomorrow. Everybody travel safely. We'll see you on Saturday!!:cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1: :cool1:

So I had to come to the office this morning...:headache: some unfinished business.
We are looking forward to meet you all. It has been a pleasure sharing with you the anticipation of our vacation and yours. Our DD has requested to be picked up early from her school and I may just do that. We'll start our driving adventure later on this afternoon. The weather seems to be great all the way through :drive:
Keep us in your prayers for a safe trip as you will be in ours.
Take care and see you onboard :thumbsup2

After an awesome day at Discovery Cove today (super nice weather), we're headed to the shuttle tomorrow and look forward to meeting everyone! DS10 and DS8 called Discovery Cover paradise and didn't want to leave. The prospect of the ship tomorrow, though, was enough to encourage them. :) :thumbsup2

The Magic was wonderful as always! It was great fun meeting everyone on Saturday.

Thanks to all of the people who participated in the Fish Board Extender swap. It was fun to see what was waiting for us when we came back to the room. We had some creative people traveling with us.

The trip home was long and the airline lost 2 pieces of luggage. Both flights were delayed. And now there is lots of :laundy: to catch up on.

THanks to everyone who helped make it a memorable vacation.

It was great meeting everyone!

Yes, our flights were delayed also. One of us has her suitcases unpacked and her laundry done. The other one doesn't. Anyone want to guess which one is unpacked?

We had a great dinner grouping from the boards. I've never laughed so much!!!!!

It was a wonderful cruise! I traveled with Sister Pate and was fortunate to meet Kathryn and her daughter. We had a wonderful time together. However, I have been able to do only the laundry I absolutely need and I'm not unpacked hardly at all! My house is a mess, the kids grades went down, but it's all good- I spent a fantastic week with just "the girlfriends" and now I'm ready to tackle those house and kid issues again.
Oh Canada!

It was great meeting everyone! Thanks to everyone in the fish extender exchange! We enjoyed all of the gifts that you left us! It was especially fun to hang the dis magnets on our door!
We had a hard time finding our luggage, as it was scattered around the orange goofy section. Try to find two black suitcases in a sea of black suitcases. The flowered ones were easy to find.
We also arrived home late due to plane delays, but we're home, and settled back in again.
Sure was a fun time, so thank you everyone!:) :) :)

Oh, you may want to know that even though we paid for Disney air program, and were assigned usair flights by disney, usair is not participating in the air program any more.:confused3 We had to find and handle our own luggage just as if Disney had not booked us. We had no idea this would happen , so I had not brought our luggage straps, and actually brought more than I could handle or would have brought if I realized Disney would not be handling ours the way they did for their Delta, etc. people.
Oh well,
Hope you are settled in.

The children really enjoyed them!
We are back home. We also had delayed flights on Saturday, but we're here now. Pittsburgh sure is snowy.
We really enjoyed meeting everyone!

We were also delayed on our flights going to Orlando by two hours and Orlando back to New York our delay was four hours. We just received an email today from Jetblue for almost $300 per person vouchers for future flights. Obviously, people complained!! I am glad to see Jetblue make good.

I was told they had a couple of Cat. 4 and 5 rooms left at sailing time. I unfortunately could not upgrade because I needed connecting rooms.

The weather was perfect. We also have booked our cruise for president's week next year. As always the Magic is a blast to be on and we can't wait for our next cruise!!!

HI,

We went to Guest services and they said there weren't any available cabins. Oh well, we were quite happy with our rooms and had a great time on the cruise. The weather was wonderful. Our room steward and servers were the best.

Our son had the best time in the Stack and made lots of friends. I do hope they make some adjustments in the kids program for the tween set. Our daughter was too young for the Stack and too old for the Oceaneer Club/Lab. OceanQuest was only open for a short time each day. Not really enough time to make friends. She still had a great time. We all did.

We'd all love to go back.
