St John excursion 3 are listed -varying prices,why? [Archive] - The DIS Discussion Forums

Okay bear with me a little longer. Our cruise is within the week. Looking back on the list-[ I guess it's accurate] of shore excursions to Trunk Bay, here are the Disney sponsered possibilities:
St John Barefoot Catamaran sail 69/52[ adult/child]
St John Trunk Bay Beach 42/30
5 star St John Snorkle and Beach Tour 45/30
There seems to be a big price difference between the Catamaran and other 2 . Is this just the method of transport that makes the difference. Do they all come close to the beach- where younger kids could go if they wanted?Thanks again for your patience with all my questions:smooth:

The difference is with the catamaran excursison, the boat ride is part of the fun (and the cost). It also includes snacks and drinks on the boat. With the St. John Trunk Bay Beach Excursions the boat ride is no big deal and the beach is the focal point of the excursion. No food or drink is included in the cost of those. :)
