Best Place to Print Digital Photos

Hello. I have never been to the photography board before but thought it would be the best place to find out from all of you photography experts, where is the best place to get your digital pictures printed.

I am sure this question has probably been posted on here a hundred times but I am new here and just need your advice. We have approx. 300-400 pictures from our latest WDW trip and I would like to have them printed at a decent price.

Any suggestions?

I don't do "clubs" or anything, but the lowest I've found (without deals) is 19 cents a print at Walgreens. I can them pick them up in store.

I've had good results with shutterfly and mpix. Both are websites to which you download your photos and they mail you the prints. My experience with local printers (Walgreens, WalMart, etc.) has not been that good.

I've been happy with shutterfly, or if I am in a hurry Meijers has done a good job in a pinch.

I wouldn't give much credence to that review...MPIX #21..no way..

they don't understand the things they criticize...

yes 5 prints from mpix may have cost them 5 dollars shipping..

a large order of 8x10 and various other sizes would cost the same 5 dollars,

mpx is geared towards pros who order in volume. so the shipping price is good not bad as they rate it.

the fact that there is cropping in all the prints from all printers tells me they sent an odd size file...

I'd put more trust in the people on this board than I would in that review..

I love Winkflash! It's an online site you upload your pictures to, they print, and send them to you. It's about a week turnaround time. Any time I send them to Winkflash, I have my pics within 6-7 days. The co. is in RI, and I live in MO, so it may depend on where you live as well.

I love them because they print on Fuji Professional paper, cost $0.12 per 4x6 (cheaper if you're new and have a code), and the best part is it's only $0.99 shipping for all of your 4x6s, no matter how many you have! :yay: Last vacation I printed over 500 pictures and my cost came to just over $60. I couldn't beat that! You can also keep your pictures on their server and share your pics with friends and family!
