This trip we are staying off site and most likely eating off site too. I am wondering which restaurants around Disney have kids nights, where on a certian night of the week they do special activities for kids?

I figured searching out this kind of thing might make it a little more fun for my DD who is used to eating at Disney restaurants.

Thanks!

Lisa

The most fun we ever had was at Whispering Canyon Cafe at FWL. The kids have stick horse races around the restaurant. We all stood up and sang the hookie pookie, it was someone's birthday, I don't know if they do that everynight. The waiters interact with you. Ask for ketchup and you will recieve 20 bottles. Some one from each table gets up and brings you a bottle. Ask for a straw and you'll get a table full. All kinds of fun.
Also at the Poly, can't remember the name of the restaurnat, there is a limbo contest and the kids line up and dance and play instruments as they walk through the restaurant.

Check out allearsnet.com for the restaurants, menus. and a description all all restaurants in the parks and resorts.

Hope this helps. Have fun. :cool1:

O'Hana's is the restaurant in the Poly. We love it and we have plans for Sept. trip. The kids love the broom and coconut races.

It is expensive. When I read this thread I thought it was a night for kids to eat free or next to it.

We aren't staying off site with the exception of the first 3 days, but would like to know the information on this too. Sometimes it can be alot cheaper to go somewhere they have kids nights off site.

Offsite, Denny's has kids eat free on Tuesdays and Golden Corral has .99 kids meals on Tuesdays. That's all I know of locally but there could be more

As I recall, Bennigans does a "kids eat free" deal on Tuesdays, as well.

If you're taking an afternoon break, or get done early, I've been told that if you get to Cracker Barrel before 4 you still only pay the lunch buffet rate but they start bringing out the dinner food and you can eat at the lunch price.

Many family restaurants do kids meals, provide crayons and colouring mats, and generally welcome kids. Whereabouts are you staying?
