where to get Disney flags??

I'm looking to get a pirates of the carribean flag for my Black Pearl (ugly pontoon)......pirate:

Any guesses where i could find Disney flags ?????

I bought mine at the ride's store...I was there last week and looked for a replacement for mine but they didn't have any....you might try calling 407 363 6200 and ask...tell them you saw it at the ride and want to see if you can get one....i had to wait for mine was backordered but well worth it!!!

I've seen lots of flags on EBay, also take a look at Mouse Surplus from time to time if you want something park specific.

If you're looking for something to buy actually at Disney World, go to the Disney Marketplace. Go to the Toy Store (the one with the big Mr. Potato Head outside), it is on the northernmost tip of the marketplace, right next to the Earl of Sandwich store.

Go in the store, go to about the 3rd or 4th "room", on your right hand side in the corner up against the wall will be a bunch of Pirates of the Carribean merchandise. They have two flags to choose from, a regular skull and bones and a colored skull and bones that says "Pirates of the Carribean" in small print underneath it.

Ok, so yes I've bought a flag from there and yes I've visited that section too much...lol.

Are these standard sized flags, ie 3x5, that can be flown from a flagpole?

Yea, I bought one for my parents a few months ago, they live on a lake and have a big flagpole on their dock, they fly it right under the American flag. Now all they need is an animatronic parrot on the dock and they'll be set.

The flag that the Black Pearl flew was actually the the skull and crossed blades flag of "Calico" Jack Rackham, who was an actual pirate in the Carribean back during those times. There are quite a few 3'x5' out there, and some smaller ones as well.

Thats it .....but I would like the word "black pearl" under the skull.......

I haven't seen any that say Black Pearl under it, probably because it is copyrighted by Disney. Chances are the only place you're going to find one that says Black Pearl is through Disney, and I haven't seen any that say Black Pearl, in the stores or online.

You could try having someone make one, but most shops would probably say they couldn't because of copyright violations. Or if you or an acquaintance know how to sew you could try to do it yourself, I'm sure it can't be that hard :)

The color flag they sell is similar to Calico Jack's flag, the black and white skull and crossbones is just your normal skull and crossbones. I didn't think I would like the color one but I have to admit it looks rather cool when it's flying!

If you can find the Black Pearl font....I'm sure there's one out there somewhere...you can print it on clear transfer paper and iron it on the Calico Jack flag. :thumbsup2 You will have to do it on more than one transfer sheet for it to fit on a 3x5 flag. I would cut around each letter so the transfer paper doesn't show.
