I was on hold for about 40 minutes or so, after getting told for about fifteen minutes that all circuits are busy, but finally got through!

I got LeCellier for 12/20 at 5:10 for the 8:15 show!!! Whew!!! I'm so excited. I was getting nervous there. :scared: So,for those of you still on hold, hang in there. They will pick up eventually. :goodvibes

Yay:dance3: after waiting on hold once for 15 min and having my cell phone drop the call. I got what we wanted after another 33 min wait on hold. LeCellier at 530 for the 815 show on Dec 6. I didn't think I would get it after that first lost call...almost an hour, but we are in:cheer2: . So excited, back to bed though as it is barely 6 here and I was up at 445 to call!

When I tried at 7:00am this morning it said "All circuits are busy" for the first four tries and then I finally got thru to the menu and waited on hold for about 35 minutes! It was worth it though as I got my ADR for the CP on 12/5 at 5:40 for the 8:15 show! Hopefully the service is quick and we'll be out in time to get our seats for the show.:) I was really sweating it out when I was on hold thinking there would be no CP ADR's left by the time I got through.:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2 Good luck to all who are trying to get through!

I started dialing at 6:59 and was put on hold for over 20 mins. My DH sat next to me (either for luck or moral support) looking very nervous. We got LC on 12/24 at 5:40 for the 8:15 show. The strange thing is that there are only 3 of us and we had to book 2 tables :confused3 Hopefully we will be able to get one table together when we check in. Now my DH will worry for the next 6 months about getting a table together. I'll just keep telling him that everything will work out.

We will be having lunch instead of dinner with reservations for 1:50 which means a small breakfast to start us out and then a snack in the evening which will work for us. We got 4pm at Coral Reef on 12/7 for the 6:45pm show.

Took about 20 minutes on hold after getting in the queue just before 7. I was concerned because it asked for my phone number a second time, and the prompts had longer pauses between them for some reason. Once I entered my phone number the second time, I immediately dropped into the music, nothing telling me to wait...but eventually the CM came on and took care of everything.

I called back when I got to my office and got the "extremely high call volume" message and was only on hold for maybe 10 minutes.

I'd originally had a regular ADR for Le Cellier on Nov. 29th at 4:50 pm. Never thought we'd get Le Cellier for the CP, but we were able to get 5:10. Perfect!!

Yes, the dining package can be used for Candlelight.

We have Le Cellier at 4:00 for the 6:45 show on December 22. I also booked the exact same package for December 26. Since the narrator for the 26th is TBA, I wanted the option of choosing between the two dates. I'll cancel the one we don't want as soon as the narrator is released.

I just called... twice. The first CM told me that Marrakesh was not included as one table service credit on the DDP. When I asked what the other choices were, she put me on hold, and then a few minutes later the "end of call" survey came on and then they hung me up. Arggg!!! I called back, got all through the menus again, and only waited a minute or two before I got someone who was helpful. She said Marrakesh IS considered a TS credit, so I went ahead and booked Marrakesh for 5:30 on Dec 21, with an 8:15 showing of CP. It will be our last night, watching this. I've never seen this show in my many Xmas trips, so I am definitely looking forward to it. I wanted to watch it in the dark (i.e. a later show) to see all the candles and lights.

The CM I spoke with also confirmed that we are on the DDP and that the CP would be 1 TS credit. She made a point of mentioning it more than once and even went through the process of how it would work and when it comes time to "pay" for the meal, we would "pay using 1 TS credit each".

And in previous years, it was also 1 TS credit for the CP packages.

There's no difference in tiers if you're on the DDP. There is a package price if you are paying OOP, and the tiers refer to the prices for the package.

It is different this year in that the ressie is not paid when booking. I believe in year's past, you paid for the CP when booking it.

This is good since we are on the Disney Dining Experience and will get the discount.

Looks like most people got the reservation they wanted, must have been a lot of pixie dust going around.

I also got up at 7am to call this morning--it paid off, we got a 5:30pm reservation at Le Cellier for the 8:15pm show on November 29th--exactly what we wanted!! I was getting nervous the longer I sat on hold, but looks like I had a little pixie dust come my way! I am so glad that is all taken care of--now all the details of our 10 day trip in November are taken care of--now I just have to sit back and wait!!! I can't wait for November!:goodvibes

I got what I wanted, too, but I didn't call til 11am. LeCellier at 5:00 for 8:15 show. Only problem is that we're at 2 tables for 4, instead of 1 giant table for 8. But that's pretty much expected at LeCellier, from what I hear.

Still good, though!! And congrats on everyone getting what they wanted!!

We've got the same show (same day) but with Le Cellier at 5:10. I didn't get to call until 8:30 this morning and thought for sure I'd be out of luck for Le Cellier but there were a few time slots open for the 8:15 show. I took the earliest at 5:10 just to give us some time to wander and let our food digest before we sit for the show.

See you there!!

I called right at 7:00 and was on hold for 20 minutes before I finally had to hang up and go catch my train.

Perfect!!

Hey Kelleigh--

It looks like we are going to be at Le Cellier and the CP at the same time--5:30 ressie at LC on 11/29 for the 8:15 show!!! What a coinky-dink!! I can't wait!

Yahoo...CP package for 11-29 6:45 show, LeCellier reservation 4 pm. I was a little nervous as I overslept this morning, but only waited on the phone 10 minutes and got our first choice!! Our TBA is now Neil Patrick Harris. Has anyone heard his narration before and what did you think? This will be our first CP; can't wait.

Disnemimi-- I got LC this morning too, but we are doing a 5:30 ressie to make it to the 8:15 show. Enjoy your dinner and the show!!! By the way--love that you go by Mimi to your grandkids. We have called my Dad's mom "Mimi" our entire lives--her heritage stems back to England, and she always went by Mimi because of her heritage--still does high tea every day!! Have a great trip!

Nope. When I called, the CM said that the narrator was TBD. We don't really have a preference, since this will be our first time. Although, if you asked hubby, he'd probably be hoping for Gary Sinise since he's a big fan.

We don't care either who ends up being our narrator. We do LOVE Neil Patrick Harris on How I Met Your Mother, but I am sure that anyone would do a great job. This is our first CP, so we will just be happy to be there--and have a seat waiting for us.

Even though you pay once you are at the restaurant, I still don't think you will be able to use the DDE on your package. It's a set price with no discounts just as Fantasmic is.

I decided to have IPO book for me, I got a confirmation email this morning and got the restaurant I asked for, but the party size was wrong. They had listed 2 adults and 4 kids...we're 4 adults. I wrote back to correct it and they emailed me back with a new confirmation number and time. So now we're dining at 2:30 for the 5:00 show...how long do the meals usually take at the Teppanyaki restaurant? I don't want to have to rush through the meal, especially if we are seated later than our ADR time.

Well after almost 40 minutes on hold.... I got exactly what I wanted 12/7 5:40 at Le Cellier for the 8:15 show. I am now completely done with my ressies. It's time to RELAX.

I didn't have time to call early this morning, but I did get what I wanted this afternoon! LeCellier at 5:30 for the 8:15 show. We are keeping our trip a secret, so I haven't been able to tell my DH- the kids are always around! So, I knew I could share here!

Yep - DH better be up and dialing!;) He does our ADRs. We have 2 Epcot days planned for our trip and are hoping to get the CP package for either night.

Well, I overslept the alarm and then turned it off in a sleepy stupor but DH woke up on his own at exactly 7am and was on the phone by 7:02. He was on hold for about 30min - we were pretty nervous, but he got just what we wanted: LeCellier 11/27 for 5:10pm with CP at 8:15. We already had GG ADR for 12/1 and considered making that our CP night, I would have really been happy with that if Neil Patrick Harris is indeed the narrator for that time frame which was listed as TBA. I just LOVE him on How I Met Your Mother! However, DH kept our original plan since the narrator for 11/27 is John O'Hurley who my SIL and MIL are famliar with from Seinfeld - I think I will be cracking up thinking of J. Peterman reading the Christmas Story (maybe he'll wear the urban sombrero)!
I hope everyone else got what they were wanting!:goodvibes

Hmmm... thanks for this info. I got my ressies about an hour ago and the CM was positive the CP was NOT on the dining plan this year. I'm going to call back to ask again...

I started calling this morning at 6:59(CST), got thru on the 2nd time, waited 7 minutes, and talked to Susan Car, very nice, got my 1st choice Le Cellier at 5:20 for the 8:15 show on Dec. 15th. I just let her recap my ADR, she ask if I was on the dining plan, I said yes, and she said that it would be 1 table service. I didn't even have to ask, she covered it during her recap of my ADR! I was a little bummed that we have 2 tables but after reading all of these posts, I guess I should be glad. Maybe they can put my 3 kids at one table across the restaurant. Just kidding.

Hope I did okay? I got in right at 7 am this morning and was on hold like everyone else for a while...I decided to go with Biergarten --two of us will be on Dining Plan and one cash, but we also have two small children 5 and 7 who I felt like might enjoy the band, dancing, and entertainment at Germany.

I know the food will not be as good as Le Cellier (we have been there before), but I hope I won't be disappointed in my selection since I probably could have had Le Cellier also. (I also will be going to Le Cellier this coming October on another trip.)

Any comments on Germany?

Got 4:15pm at Teppanyaki for 12/20 6:45pm show, after about a 45 minute wait. I actually finally hopped into the shower and put the phone on "speaker" and hoped I would be able to hop out in time if the CM came on-line!

One big variation from what I had read here, however - I had made a "back up" ADR at the same restaurant for 6:30pm dinner that same night. I was not questioned about that at all and after I booked the CP package for what is also considered to be dinner that same night, I asked if that other ADR was automatically cancelled. The CM said no, and I voluntarily released it. Others here said that I would not be permitted to book the CP package if I already had an ADR for the same meal, or restaurant - this was not the case.

I totally forgot to call today, but when I saw Neil Patrick Harris on television this evening I called.

I already had an ADR for Biergarten on 12/13 at 6:15.
I was offered 5:45pm and the last show for Candlelight Processional on 12/13.

I can't wait. I've never seen Candlelight Processional before.
I've had a crush on Neil Patrick Harris since Doogie. I hope they don't switch him to another date.

This is hilarious! I posted this morning and didn't get any replies in a couple of minutes so I went surfing on other sites :gasp: :scared1: and never checked back. My DH (who is a huge Restaurants Board fan) was just reading the boards and said is this you? It has 100-something posts! Oops! I didn't have a clue!

But just to let everyone know, I was on hold for about 40 minutes, and then was told there was no availability at Le Cellier, so we went with Chefs de France... I guess I can live with that, she says sarcastically. I am so excited!!! I am just like a little kid - I can't wait till Christmas. :santa: Mommy, how many days is it???? I wanted to eat lunch and then go back to the hotel and take a nap before the 5pm show...well the earliest they serve lunch is at 1:45p! Can't believe that they limit the times people can eat their meals when the restaurants open at 12! Real annoying...the only thing the CM could say was, "well, this is how it's been for years..."..pretty much means we'll have to get the kids to take naps in the stroller....ugh...should be ok but hoping they nap well enough that they don't lose it during the CP!

I read somewhere that the crowds from T'giving won't diminish until Sat. evening. I would think Friday, 11/23 would be very crowded still.

If you want to see it, I would definitely book the pkg!

We will be there that week as well and the 23rd is our last day too. In my reading of the boards, I have heard that Epcot, in particular, is VERY crowded the day after T-day! We aren't even attempting that park except for the meal and the CP!

Good luck - we will be at the Garden Grill for "lunch" at 2:20 and seeing the CP @ 5:00 for the 1st show of the season - then back to the MK for Spectro before we leave to come home :sad1:

I'm not sure I understand. What day are you hoping to get the CP package for the Coral Reef, since the packages are sold out for the 24th? If you willing to do the CP package on another day, your best bet is probably to call and find out what's available on the other days you'll be there. Good luck. :goodvibes

I just want to thank mommapoppins for starting the "is anyone up this early" thread. I just happened upon it yesterday (late morning). I was so stressed in that moment - pure panic. The Disney dining CM when I was making my other ADRs told me that the CP reservations opened on August 9th. I had it on my calendar to wake up super early and call then. But thanks to stumbling upon mommapoppins thread, I was able to call in immediately and get a CP package for 12/25 @ 5pm @ Tutto Italia for the late CP show. It will be the last night of our Disneymoon and our first time seeing the show. Seems like a perfect way to celebrate our first Christmas as husband and wife.

Thank goodness it worked out. I'm so glad I joined the DIS. Thanks everyone.

Thanks so much. We're doing some creative budgeting (including the new Disney honeymoon registry) to pull this and our AZ wedding off, but we both have always thought a Disneymoon would be a perfect way to start our lives together and it will be completely worth it. We only have a few ADRs throughout the trip (we'll mostly be doing CS to save some $$) and this was by far the most important one. That and Chef Mickey's for our first breakfast with matching minnie bride and mickey groom shirts and mouse ears hats. I'm super excited.

Happy early anniversary! What a great way to celebrate. I think the way that WDW can be both an adventure and romantic makes it a great place for celebrations of true love. I hope you have many magical moments with your loved one.

We wanted to go to WDW for our anniversary, but it was a week before Christmas that we got married, and we live in NJ, so we were worried about the potential of bad weather. When we went in 2002, the first time for my DH, he kept calling it ou second honeymoon!
