Well I am still learning. But that is why I keep practicing :) Went out to see a beautiful sunset over the lake.

Nice shots. Thank you for sharing. My favorite is the one with the boat.

I can offer two pieces of advice. First, you need to clean your sensor. There are dust specks showing on some of the shots. Secondly, try to keep your horizons straight. If you are off a little on the shot, it is very easy to fix in pp, but it will also involve a crop.

Thanks!

And thanks for the advice. Some of the specks are on the lens. I had to switch to my telephoto quickly and did not check for cleanliness. I was really trying hard to keep my horizon straight. That is something I will work harder on.

LOL... Is it just me, or is it just too funny that someone who is an Off Kilter fan needs to work on keeping horizons straight!

nice shots, the moon looked really good friday but i was so lazy i didn't get my camera:)( make that extremely lazy since i could have stood at my bathroom window and taken it from inside but didn't feel like setting every thing up)and the sky has been clear for a change...

wondering where these were taken as i like the rocks going out into the lake. by me there aren't a lot of rocks, (unless you count the erosion stopper concrete things as rocks) so the foreground isn't real interesting.

i like Number 1 the best with the sun reflecting in the water and the silhouetted people :thumbsup2

Actually I drove out to Avon. There is a nice new park at Rt 83 and Lake Ave (Rt 6). There are no trees in the way and just wide open space.

Where are you at??
