I have trouble sorting through all the reviews and opinions on restaurants at WDW. I thought everyone could vote for individual restaurants, and post reasons why they did or didn't like it. We'll see how this works.:thumbsup2

We always have it on our list for CS at MK. We enjoy it very much. I will be recommending to family for their trip next summer.

Date: November 2007
Meal: Starboard Deck Sandwich, Potato Chips, Apple Crisp, Diet Coke
Service: Quick Service
Outcome: Excellent

Really enjoyed the broccoli slaw in the sandwich. It was kind of out of the way so it was much quieter than most other quick service restaurants.

We've eaten there several times and just don't like it. We always try something different, but it's not anything we care for.

We just got back last week. One day at MK we ate at Pecos Bills, another day we ate at CHH. I'd take PB's any day, although CHH had more room and slightly more comfortable seating. The food was just so-so -- standard fried chicken strips & fish fillet, an okay tuna sandwich. Slow service even though we were there at an un-busy time (though to be fair, this was something we noticed at all the CS places throughout our trip; odd).

I'd give CHH a "C". Next time we will go back to PB's.

We like CHH pretty well.
My husband enjoys the fried food, I prefer tuna the salad sandwich. We enjoy sitting upstairs by one of the front windows, where it's farly calm and quiet, and watching the people enter and exit HM.

It was good. I'd eat there again. Where we wanted to eat was closed so just went here.

This is my favorite counter service in MK. I love their 1/2 tuna sandwich and cup of chowder. They have great seating upstairs, quiet, off the beaten path. You can relax and watch the people outside in Fantasyland.

Garden Galley Salad - mixed greens with chicken, pecans, pineapple and feta cheese $6.99

The absolute best CS meal at MK! Light but filling at the same time. Love it!

I like the menu at Columbia Harbor House; it provides alternatives to the typical burgers and fries fare served at so many of the WDW CS locations. We ate here for the first time this past January and will return in October. I also really like eating upstairs. Those who planned the layout of this restaurant did a nice job sectioning off the areas upstairs, so you can eat in relative peace and quiet.

I love the Lighthouse Sandwich (hummus and broccoli slaw) and the vegetarian chili. It's my favorite counter service meal in WDW.

My family really likes it. We have only had chicken fingers there and the crispy fish, and it was really good.

Loved It!!! As good or better than a salad from a TS.

Now I'm hungry, and I'll have to make a decision on what to eat when we get there. We always find this a quiet place to rest and regroup. Often the upstairs is roped off when we go, so I think that I've only made it up there once.

It was ok for me personally. There weren't many choices. There is no public elevator if you want to sit upstairs and have a stroller. I was able to use a CM elevator, though.

My DH, kids and parents liked it, though. I'm just picky and the chicken fingers I got gave me a bad stomachache.

We always eat here & enjoy the tuna sandwich & chicken strips. Last time (for an healthier option) we bought jacket potatoes (from the stands near haunted mansion) & had these with our meal instead of fries.

This is my DW's favorite in MK. The kids prefer Pecos Bill. I am an omnivore -- I love them both.

We were there October of 06 - ate there due to high ratings and reviews but just did not think it lived up to the reviews that I read. The one request from the kids and adults when we were planning for the trip this fall was that we not eat at Columbia HH.
Between the 10 of us that ate there was a wide variety ordered and no one was overly impressed. Fish and chicken both reminded me of lunchroom food that I see every day. Maybe it was just a bad day - everyone else on the boards seem to like it.

ITA. The broccoli slaw was a wonderful surprise. It was my first CS meal in MK, and I was shocked at the quality of the food and the care and thought that went into planning the menu. They could have just slapped some ham and Kraft cheese in there and been done, but they instead made it into a flavorful, interesting sandwich. Kudos to Disney for that! :thumbsup2

It's our favourite CS place in MK! Like a previous poster, I love the 1/2 tuna salad sandwich and cup of clam chowder. DH and DS enjoy the chicken and fish strips with fries and DD the veggie sandwich. Yummy!
