5-Star Adventure: Always Trunk Bay?

According to the Excursion Request Form description, the "5-Star St. John Snorkel & Beach Adventure" goes to Trunk Bay. Has anyone been on this excursion when they went somewhere else? Would it be possible to rendezvous with someone on this excursion if you took your own transportation to Trunk Bay?

We took this excursion during our 1-19-02 cruise. I don't know if it ever goes anywhere else, but you could meet up with others at Trunk Bay.

We almost missed the return trip on the Leylon Sneed (the boat they use for the excursion) and would have found out first-hand how to get our own transporation back again.
