Can someone give me the info. i need to know about the internal bus system. We didn't use it much when we stayed in the cabins. Which buses do we take to get say, from 300 loop to settlement or meadows trading post. I think i can figure out the outside busses, just wasn't sure which ones go where within the campgrounds. thanks!
CHECK IN IS ONE MONTH FROM TODAY!!!:cool1:

This is a new map of FW with an explanation of the routes, yellow, orange and purple. With the colors there will be one other indicator to let you know which direction the bus is headed. From 300 you could take the Settlement Yellow bus to Settlement, transfer there to an Outpost orange bus to Meadows Trading post. If the pool/rec area of meadows is you goal then just hop an Outpost Yellow bus to the 1500 loop.

Thank you! Do the internals run more frequently than the park buses?

There are usually 2 or 3 buses running in continual loops for each route. FYI, the yellow and purple buses run in a circle, therefore sharing buses, at settlement the Settlement Yellow becomes an Outpost Purple and a Settlement Purple would become an Outpost Yellow(does that make sense?). Anyway the buses come every 10min or so.
Also the Settlement Orange bus will go out to WL after settlement, then become an Outpost orange as it comes back to FW.

OMG, i am used to the simple system at OKW! this will take some getting used to! Also, where does the trail start that goes over to WL? i remember walking from WL to FTW, but don't remember where it comes out. thanks again!

The trail to WL is #15 on the map, bike/jog path. As for the buses, just ride one around a full loop and you will get a good idea of what goes where, plus it's a nice way to get a feel for the campground on your first day.

Close to the Settlement (the number 15 at the top left on the map).

We were just thinking of walking to the pool, store, etc. Do you think it will be too far? We are also bringing our bikes, in case.

From most camping loops I don't think it will be too far(at least not for me, I like to walk), from the cabin loops it may be a hike to the trading posts. Bikes are a great way to get around the Fort!
