We will be treating my mom to her very first cruise ever and was wondering what there is for her to do. I don't think she'll always be interesting in doing everything we do as we are choosing things with kids to do. Any suggestions? Are there any excursions (we're on the 4day Wonder) that you might suggest?

Sign her up for spa treatments. Get her involved in activities/programs onboard such as wine tasting, behind the scenes tours etc.

Last year we took the entire family on the 4 day Wonder cruise.
We had 4 generations with us. Our grandchildren (ages 1,3 & 6)
our children (ages 26,27,29,30) us (ages 51 & 53) and my mother and aunt (ages 80 & 85). There was something for everyone and we all had a great time (especially my mother and aunt). They especially enjoyed shopping in Nassau and we took them to the casino on Paradise Island in the evening of the Nassau day.

BINGO! Sure, not all Grandmas play Bingo, but there sure were a lot of them in there on our cruise!

Hey, don't knock Bingo! I took my mother on her first cruise this past December - she played, and suckered me into playing... I won a game... it was fun
