Confused by change of time to VS027

This is probably just me being a bit dim but I have received a phone call from Virgin to say they have changed my flight times. We were previously on the VS027 on 2nd November leaving Gatwick at 11.15 and arriving MCO at 15:45.

Everything is exactly the same except the times of the flight. We are now leaving half an hour earlier at 10:45 but arrive MCO half an hour later at 16:15. Can anyone explain this?

I think that its is because the uSA is changing its clocks back one week later than ourselves instead of doing it the same weekend.
It only effects flights on 1, 2 & 3 Nov, then it goes back to arriving at 15:10

It has affected our flight as well on 20th September so I don't think it's time change.

The flight times for VS27 in September are Dep 10:45 arrive 14:55
the only thing is September is that the VS 27 will not fly Tuesdays, wednesdays or sundays between 10th & 29th Sept

Thanks for that Obi - that's really helpful. I take it then that as I will be travelling on the 1st and they are changing their clocks on the 4th that the time difference for our first few days will be 6 hours and not 5? Just need to check for when we phone home?

No the time difference will be 4 hours until 2am on November 4th.
