We make our meal ressies for end of Jan. beginning of August. My question is, If we want to get a ressie for Crystal Palace for before the park is open (Early entry included) how will we know 6 mo. out when the park opens for guests staying on property. They don't announce which park has EE on which days that far in advance, do they? Are the computers set up to show the CMs the restaurant hours even though they haven't been announced yet?

Yes, they announce park hours and EMH days the first week of the month that falls six months ahead. So they announced park hours and EMH days for December during the first week of June, and they will announce park hours and EMH days for January in the first week of July.

Check here for park hours:

and here for the specific EMH days:

If you're going at the end of January, then your 180 day window begins at the end of July, not the beginning of August. You should have a plan in place to call and make your ADRs right at the 180 day mark. For example, if you want to make your first ADR for January 20th, 2008, you should call on July 24, 2007 - exactly 180 days ahead.

One other comment, though -- I don't think the restaurants open an hour earlier on morning EMH days, so I'm not sure you'd be able to do that Crystal Palace thing. I'm not sure about this, but I'm sure somebody will correct me if I'm wrong.

The earliest seating for Crystal Palace is 8.05am.

And that 8:05am is also the earliest seating on EE days as well. They don't open at 7am just because there is EE that day.
