Well, Since we don't have a victim this week, I've changed Ask Me Anything to something more fun. This week you get the Oppurtinity to ask the person above you Anything. For those that are confused (and I KNOW you all will be! :lmao: ) I'll give an Example.

Person A posts on this thread. Person B then asks the person above them a question. Then, Person C could then ask Person B a question if they wanted, or they could wait till Person A Responds and then ask them. Got it? Hope you do because we are starting now.. :rotfl:

I don't have a person above me so I'll wait for my question... :)

Here's one for you Jr, surely we haven't got to ask everyone above us a question?

No of course not; I was only asking those two because I forgot to in my original posts....

Now for you.. When was your first drink?

Today, not at all as we are "off" the drink in the week - apparently it is good for us, seems foolhardy at best to me!:confused3

Ever, is a trickier one old sport. I can remember having wine with meals when in France on exchange visits, and one would've been when I was around 12, and I can also vaguely remember having wine at my aunt's house at around 13. So, I would say 11/12ish.

How about your good self? And, what did you have to celebrate the end of your exams?

I haven't yet... :rolleyes1: I've tryed little Sips of various kinds but I haven't found anything that appeals to my very limited taste buds yet.. Too bad I'm not more like my Adoptive Mother who is quite good at it.. :lmao:

General Question to anyone: What did you think of the Brown Blair Handover thingy? :)

Hi Carol

If it's ok with Sue I'll answer since we're neighbours...... quite sunny here :)

Question for you Carol....... what's do you think about all this independence for Cornwall stuff that's in the papers of late :confused3

well, its all been blown out of proportion really, I've never come across any die hard cornish vigilantes, there is definately a strong sense of unity here, we did after all used to be a different country to the rest of england and some nutters are desperate to keep that alive especially as birth rate in cornwall has gone down (most are born in devon).
Its nice at times like when Cornwall play at twickers and the bridge from my town that crosses the Kensey (ie is the border between devon and cornwall) has a massive sign up that says 'could the last one out please close the gate' :lmao:

so what's the nicest to visit, Cornwall or Devon? Always really fancied going down there on holiday but the long drive has always put me off...... but we will one day soon..... looks a lovely place to go on your hols. Closest we got was Centre Parcs at Longleat

really depends what you want from a holiday, north devon v good for surfing and quaint little towns, south devon v pretty around exmouth area, lots of history to discover in plymouth. North cornwall again for surfing while the south side has the prettier beaches.
Its very easy to do a real round tour of both in a couple of weeks, personally I'd recommend Exeter, exmouth, Plymouth, dartmoor, Looe, Mevagissey, falmouth, Marazion, St Ives, bodmin moor, Padstow, Boscastle, Bude, woollacombe. which would be a sort of coastal journey.
If you are venturing down this way let me know and i'll send you info.

p.s. we've got beasts at bodmin too, no need for longleat! :rotfl2:

Ploppy

beasts!!!!!........... what the panther or the woman folk (obviously not including your good self, before I dig too deep a hole) :lmao:

Seriously though...... if I need info I'll bare that in mind Carol..... thanks very much :)
