I'll be on the May 23rd cruise with my family. This is our first cruise as a family and our first ever Disney cruise.
My favorite tip (which I read on this board) is to bring an over the door shoe holder to organize toiletries, medincine, shoes, and other small items. I went right out and purchased mine. This should save valuable counter space in the stateroom.
Also, a few people have suggested bringing your own snorkel gear ( mask, snorkel, fins) for use at Castaway Cay (and elsewhere).

My sister and I will be on this 3 day cruise as part of the 7 day land/sea package. It will be our first cruise as well. She is single and is taking me on this trip as a thank you following her kidney transplant. I know it is going to be a blast since we will be celebrating her great health. My dream is to take my family (husband & 2 boys) on the 7 day cruise someday in the future, so I'm considering this my "fam" (travel agent lingo for familiarization) trip. I've been lurking on this site for months getting tons of great info.:)

My DH, DSS (10) & I will be cruising May 23 as part of a land & sea. Can't offer a lot of suggestions, as this is our first cruise. But can share the excitement of a calendar that's starting to count down!

This will be my 4th Disney Cruise---the 3rd time on the Wonder. Our group will be my husband, myself, and our 7-yr-old daughter.

I read somewhere that there is a space shuttle launch scheduled for May 23. Has anyone else hear about this?
Wouldn't it that be terrific? I've been reading so much about the cruise that I can't recall where I picked up this tidbit. Can anyone confirm...

I have read someone's else posting and was pretty excited about it. However, I've just gone to the KSC site and did not see any launch scheduled for 5/23, only for 5/2.

Paisley Pie -- severl months back, a shuttle launch was scheduled on May 23rd. We were pretty excited about that! But when I last checked the KSC site, the launch had moved to June. (I think it was the Columbia).

Do any of you have kids close to my daughter's age (7)?
My niece is 7, but she will not be with us on the 5/23 sailing. We are planning for 12/1's 4 night wonder with the family.

My mother and I will also be on the May 23rd cruise. We are first time cruisers and I am trying to get all the tips I can from these boards. We are doing the 4 night land/3 night sea package. Hope to see all of you in May!!:pinkbounc :bounce:

Isn't it funny that we are all new cruisers? Are you all doing the land/sea package? I wonder if we'll be staying at the same resort as well? When are you arriving at WDW? We should all make sure to get the lime green ribbons so that we can identify each other on the cruise or maybe even before.
I'm so excited about the trip. I will get on DCL's site to check prices and etc, I'm booked for 4 nighter in December as well now!:D

We are booked in a Cat 11, so I think we are at Port Orleans, but CBR would also be an option. Is there a reason you opted for CBR?
