I'm on a hunt for a good WDW purse. I actually have 2 small backpacks that I can take, but I had a hard time finding them! Of course, I'd like to go without a purse, but that's just silly. LOL Lately I've been thinking that I can sew something, but can't really find a pattern for the small size I want. I don't want a simple drawstring one, either. It doesn't necessarily have to have a zipper (I don't know why I balk at zippers, because the few that I have actually done have turned out ok).
Anyway, just fishing for ideas...thanks!

check out the Chelsea bag at lazy girl designs (http://www.lazygirldesigns.com) It's BRILLIANT! And the way the zipper goes in is painless. I love the bag :wizard: I got my pattern on ebay for dirt cheap.

thanks for the link! those are pretty cute. I think I'm going to forgo making a backpack, though. I'm in the middle of making a diaper bag for my cousin's baby shower on saturday and all the little pieces are driving me crazy...I hoped to have it finished tonight, but seeing as how it's not even halfway done and I haven't even cut out the lining pieces...grr...lol

Oh man, cutting pieces out is the thing I hate the most about sewing. I thinkg that's why I liked that bag instructions so much- there's no pattern pieces, just creative ways of trimming the fabric. I can usually sew one together in about 2 hours, maybe less. :hippie:
