Ok, I don't know if this can be done but we're gonna give it a shot anyways!

I am a Loews First Gold member and I already got a guaranteed waterview room upgrade with my standard room reservation.:)

It states that you can get a suite upgrade for 35.00 per night when you check in based upon availablity, well here goes!

Since the nightly Club Level room is actually cheaper than a King Suite, do you think I'd be allowed an upgrade to Club level, if available for that same 35.00 per night.:rolleyes1

All thoughts are welcome.

Sounds logical, but no. At check in you can ask how much to upgrade to club.

Were also Loew's First Gold Members. I was wondering was there a charge for you to upgrade from a standard view to a water view room?

That update is automatic if there is availability when you reserve. There should be no charge.

thanks for ur quick response.:goodvibes I have just a few more questions do u let the person doing ur ressies know that u r a Loew's gold member and would like a complimentary room upgrade to water view if available or do u wait to arrive to let them know? Or do they do it automatically if they see ur Loew's member id # on ur ressies?:confused3 :)

If you call to make reservations, tell them your Loews First number and that you are gold and the reservationist should check to see if there is availability for your upgrade. I would make sure that the person knows. If you have already made your reservation but didn't get an upgrade, I would call them back and see if one is available.

If you make reservations online, it isn't quite that easy. I would call anyways to make sure you get what you are entitled to get.

I made my reservation online thru the Loews Hotel site thinking that because I had indicated my Loews First number, I'd automatically be upgraded. When the upgrade didn't happen, I called Universal reservations and they upgraded me with no problem.

We are now Gold too!! I called Loews for our Aug. trip and told them we had a deluxe room and what would the upgrade be? The gentleman on the phone said we would be upgraded to deluxe Club:scared1: I told him I didn't think that was right but he would not believe me.

I know! I kept telling him I knew that wasn't correct but he just would not believe me. I asked for his name and told him when I checked in they would know who to blame:rotfl2:
