One Week on DDP - an over view June 2-10

Hi Guys - I will give you an overview of where we ate and what we thought. We are very easy to please people. We are not really picky and do not have exquisite tastes...if you know what I mean! There were 6 of us who ate together every night. ME, DH, DS, DD ( she ate...but not on the plan..she is only 1), DMom, DDad

June 2nd - Arrival Day. We did Counterservice at ASMo - nothing exciting we did like the alfredo pasta with chicken. I was hoping for a ceaser salad but they did not offer it that day.

June 3rd - Hoop De Doo Review - this was our first time ever. Since we were on the dining plan we were in a Cat. 2 seat. I had a huge pole in front of me that blocked about 1/3 of the stage. The show was good but please don't flame me..in my opinion not really worth 2 meals! I am a music teacher and love shows...so it isn't like I am an anti show person. I just couldn't see the whole stage. The food was good, filling, a bit rushed. Again, please don't flame me.

June 4th Le Cellier - WE LOVE THIS PLACE. We were not disappointed. I had filet mignon...delicious! We love the bread sticks. This was my DMom's fave place. She wanted to go back!!!!

June 5th - We had Dinner at Chef Mickey's. The food was okay. The ice cream bar was great. Nothing spectacular but look at the joy on my son's face...MORE than WORTH IT!!!

June 6th - this was my biggest disappointment. We ate there before and I wasn't thrilled with the food. We decided to try it again. Again I wasn't thrilled. I ordered the steak and it was really tough! I did love the chocolate milkshake which he counted as my drink!!!!

June 7th - Crystal Palace. We liked it. Our server was really nice. The food was good...but the characters were great! Again my son was thrilled. My daughter was also excited to see the characters!

June 8th - Capt N Jacks - I know this place doesn't always get great reviews but we had a DELICIOUS meal! My DH and I each had the twin lobster tails. They were great! My DDad had the Pot Roast. I think my DMom had turkey...she also loved her meal. It was awesome! Food wise this place was #2 to Le Cellier!!!!!

June 9th - Liberty Tree Tavern - we enjoyed the character again. My DMom loved the home cooking but she really likes plain food. I thought it was good but nothing "special." The characters were really playing around here. The kids kept laughing at them.

One of the days we had lunch at Pinocchio's Haus. The pizza was okay. I loved the Figgaro Fries. We got a table at the window to watch small world ride. My kids seriously enjoyed that!!!! They were waving to everyone. I recommend trying to do that one day...get there early!!!!

Did you have dinner at the CP? We have an ADR for August. I was just wonderinh how you liked it. We di CM for dinner, but we are trying something new this time. In the past, we have done the breakfast, but I made the Dinner ADR on our first day.
