HELP they only let me reserve room NO TICKETS????

I called and made reservations for jan 2008 but they only allowed me to reserve a room. I asked to add the tickets to my package and reservation (the park hopper option) but they said i could only reserve rooms at this time due to price changes. So anyway has this happended to anyone else and what should I do? I have the rooms reserved but no tickets? they said call back in September to add them but they also said it may be a problem adding them? I need help I don't know what to do!! I don't want to have to buy tickets at the gate everyday. I really wanted to get the park hopper passes for my family and I. If anyone can please help me I would soooooo appreciate it -thanks a million!!!

You can't add tickets or DDP until 2008 rates are released. Everyone who has 2008 reservations has room only reservations. Once packages come out you will be able to add additional items to your package. The big question is when the rates are coming out-a topic that has been rampant on this board.

If you're not getting the dining plan, you don't need to add tickets to your reservation. You can buy whatever kind of ticket you want (park hopper, etc.) at the gate, on the WDW web site, at your local Disney store, at your resort - lots of places. No need to buy tickets everyday.

Can you add MIckey's Very Merry Christmas Party tickets to your room and pay the balance as you go? I am gradually paying off the balance of my room. I owe just $200 for 18 nights!!!!! Yipee. Would love to add the tickets too.

if you aren't adding the dining plan, you don't have to get your tickets directly thru disney. you can use a broker like undercover tourist. the link in the mousesavers newsletter gives you the best prices.

I think this has been answered .. but package rates for 2008 aren't out yet. When they come out in late July or early August.. then you can call back and switch your room only reservation to a package if you like.

I have found it is much cheaper to get tickets sepatately at a legitimate discounter like ticketmania unless there is a special. The cancellation for room only is a much better deal if an emergency happens and you have to cancel your vacation. You won't be able to return the tickets, but they last forever.
