Hilton Transportation?

We are going to Disney in July. I am going for a convention, so dh and ds are coming along for the ride and free room:thumbsup2 . How is the transportation from the Hilton to the parks and back? We usually stay onsite and pretty much know the bus system and quirks; but we're a little leary since the Hilton is sort of the "stepchild" of hotels. Any info would be greatly appreciated! We're trying to decide if we need to rent a car.
Also-I didn't know whether to post this here or Orlando Hotels; so please direct me to any threads that might be helpful!!
