Doesn't AOl allow you to have multiple names/ accounts? If you have someone at home that wants to use the account, create a new screen name. Have your mail forwarded to the new screen name if you want (I'll bet that functionality exists) -- and notify everyone you might want to talk with on im of your temporary screen name....

But, Kathy, you'll be having too wonderful of a time to be worried about the internet...right? :confused:

Yes AOL does allow multiple names. I have a total of 5 of them for myself and daughters.

I believe the point being made on another thread was the fact that only one person on board ship can access your AOL account at a time due to the fact that your access to the internet will be via a password and your stateroom number/name. More than one of you will not be able to use it at the same time while on board ship, unless you purchase the internet access time separately for members of your party.

You can certainly IM under the same screen name that you use at home without any problem. Hope this helps explain for you. :)
